This pace makes me very very optimistic. If the Blazers' shots start falling... they could steal this game.

I liked the way Batum looked defending Nash. Gentry will probably start posting up Rudy.

Wow...after this season you are still optimistic?

This season has killed any sense of optimism I once had.

Come on Nate!

KP used the 2nd round draft picks and got you the NBA's version of the Hanson Brothers.

Use them!

You want Dante and Jeff to start signing bubblegum candy songs, and look like teenage girls when they're really teenage boys?

The reffing is actually pretty even tonight - the Suns have been getting hit just as much on the defensive end as the Blazers.

I disagree... the Suns have shot many more three pointers than we have. We're attacking the hoop more.

Batum was playing Nash HARD trying to get that foul but they didn't give it to him.

I feel good about this half considering their tremendous three point shooting because we like to switch for no reason.

However, in the second half as I said elsewhere I'm terrified Amar'e will be like "MUST EAT BLAZERS NEW CONTRACT ON THE LINE".

Holding PHX to 43 points in the first half is quite an amazing feat.

Not bad considering everything. We did pretty well, but that Brazilian is killing us. If it were not for there 3 point shooting we would have a nicer lead. Maybe Rudy will learn to make one of his many wide opened ones.

Aside from that last possession, I've been impressed with the Blazer defense. Our starters have looked dominant, and Nic is truly stepping up. If we can just find a way to not lose focus when substitutions are made...

Aldridge has the same disposition regardless of the opponent, score, importance of game, etc. He's very happy and "what will be, will be." It's kind of amazing to watch but I think it helps us that he isn't freaking out.

This game doesn't have a lot of intensity. I'd like to see us hard foul Sun players at the rim.

I think Nic was trying to take a foul when Nash passed that. Sadly, it didn't work.

Phoenix only shooting 38% from the floor so far. Good defense or poor shooting?

I like that the offense has ran on long rebounds and been very patient in the half court. We don't have Roy, so we need to work the clock to get the best shot possible. Camby looks like he is starting to get into the game too. I am hoping for a good 3rd quarter.

I'm a person in (well, around) Portland Oregon who thinks we can win the series.

Is that true, Portlanders? Do you not believe we'll win this series??
