basketball gods are cruel some times. I have absolutely no worries about his ability to get it back.

What concerns me more is getting Ant 30 mpg. He's way better than even I was anticipating to start the year. Dude is ready to break out.
MIP and Sixth Man of the Year?

I did think about this but even with hiding Dame on defense he shouldn't be playing 40 minutes in every game in November, especially when the team plays 5 games in 7 days. Dame's gonna be worn out by Christmas.

When Simons plays like he did last night shouldn't that allow Stotts to sit both Dame and CJ a little more? I get that injuries are part of the equation right now but I believe Stotts needs to be more creative in stealing Dame more rest earlier in games. Why does Dame pkay the entire 1st quarter every game no matter what the situation is?
listened to your post game and wanted to mention that one of you mentioned Tolliver did nothing last night over Skal….Skal was playing on a sprained ankle but in fairness Tolliver got 7 boards and 6 points in 20 plus minutes and Skal got 6 boards and 1 pt in 17 minutes......Skal was obviously on minutes restriction being our backup center and Tolliver played solid defense in stretches...altered shots....I know he's not a fan favorite but he didn't play a bad game from my view....he had a block and a steal as well and only 2 turnovers.....I got the impression from the podcast that he was a liability on the court and I didn't see it at all.....and I also want to say that even though he's been struggling on offense, Mario has a good motor and makes defense a priority and yes...in my view he belongs in the NBA..he's just trying to hard....I think the team could chip in and get Mario a lap dance or something to take the edge off.

Without Tolliver and Mario last night they lose that game.

There's some other higher profile MIP candidates this year with Anunoby/Dejounte Murray/etc. Hell, I'd probably give it to Siakam again.

Ant needs more usage and minutes to truly get consideration.

Hey, thanks for tuning in!

I'm hoping Tolliver finds his stroke but he's a 3 point specialist that isn't hitting 3's. His two turnovers were bad live ball ones that led directly to an easy basket for the Hawks. On defense he didn't really have a tough matchup so it's hard to tell if he had any impact on that end. Overall I'd say he did a few things well but the turnovers and missed shots are outweighing the positives right now but he's definitely not the reason we almost lost. I do wish that Little coming off a decent game would've been given an opportunity to come in sooner than he did but I also understand he's a rookie.

As for Hezonja, the Blazers have been giving up a ton of offensive rebounds at the beginning of games and he's not crashing the boards very much. He was earlier in the year though. He's playing some pretty solid individual defense but isn't having a huge impact on the game right now. For both he and Tolliver they just need some shots to start falling.

Nice bucket by CJ.....but then he saves the ball right to a good shooter for an uncontested '3'.....ugh.
Ck just gave him the ball lmaoooo
C.J. with a great assist on the Huerter three. He put it right where Huerter could shoot it.
That save by CJ to Huerter was brutal.

some of the things that were happening to him were just comical. Like a perfect storm. Even the play where it saves it directly into a Huerter 3....

Can't believe so many of you claimed Huerter got a free pass from CJ for a three.

You guys seriously didn't see he was pushed out of the way by Huerter?! It was a clear foul. Even old Calebro called it live lol

Yes it was a foul. But he should of held onto the ball regardless.

It looked like he was trying to throw it off of Huerter and get possession. Huerter just managed to grab the ball. Totally random play that happened in a fraction of a second. I don't blame CJ at all personally.

That was a bad lack of situation awareness. It's like in the NFL when you try to intercept a hail mary instead of knocking it to the ground to kill the play.
Any Blazer player had to be in the mindset that a 3-pointer was absolutely not allowed. He should have been trying to knock the ball straight out of bounds. He did the worst thing he could have done.
And then we have people in here talking about how "veteran" he is. That was a rookie mistake. Throwing the ball back in bounds never should have been an option, especially not from the corner where he was.
