It was a simple logical question. You seem to want to believe what the government has told us with regard to jet fuel but can't explain why you believe that when WTC building 7 didn't have a drop of jet fuel touch it and wasn't it by any plane. I was simply questioning why.

I think the Bush Administattion let 9/11 happen. I think they were in on it to jack the economy with that sweet sweet defense spending. I just don't also think they detonated the buildings.

Note that structural steel at 550 degrees C (1022 F) has 60% of the strength of steel at normal temperatures.

It doesn't need to melt to fail structurally.

Yes, we've all seen those pictures. There were bronze, copper, iron, and other metals used in the construction or decoration of the WTC complex, all of those metals have a much lower melting temperatures. You see something melting in a picture and immediately assume it's steel.

So you believe that the government crashed planes into the buildings and then secret government bad guys were able to run into the buildings and put secret sauces on the metal beams that cuased them to melt where the planes hit and then run out of the buildings without being seen and before the fire department got there.

I've been a long time skeptic myself. A lot of things don't really add up. They find the terrorists passports on the ground? But don't find the black boxes? Give me a break.

Look at the way WTC 7 collapsed that wasn't even hit by a plane. You can debate if the towers would have collapsed like that till the cows come home, I don't even think that makes sense. We've had plenty of steel framed sky scrapers catch fire (including one of the towers), and nothing like that ever happened.
