The way you stop a high flier like Giannis isnt to try to challenge them at the rim, its to play good solid lane defense and keep them away from the rim. Even though with the way they’re calling stuff in the nba this year Im not actually sure thats an option...

I think Chief is one of the best guys in the league to have defending the Greek Freak. Bledsoe is probably one of the best to have on Dame. CJ and Nurk need to really show up and I think we can win this one.

I have went through this replay so many times, his last dribble is at the top of the key and he takes 4 or 5 (its a little hard to tell once the defender gets there)steps from there, 3 of which look to be after his “gather”. You could maybe say its not a travel in this particular case, but he does something similar to this just about every time he drives, I dont believe I have ever seen him called for traveling and I doubt very much so that he’s never traveled on his drives.
I know the NBA lets stars do this type of thing all the time and I understand its because the league is entertainment, but I just dont like it, and I dont like watching him play for the most part. I recognize he’s good, just not a fan.

Milwaukee was a top team in the 70s (Jabbar) and 80s (Don Nelson) but fell off with subsequent head coaches, e.g. the Terries (Stotts and Porter).

The Blazers need 45+ points from swish3s to beat the Bucks. In this game without Nik, we need high % swish3 shooting such as 3 each by Dame, CJ, Meyers, Zach, and Jake or Seth. Team % needs to be >40, but 50+ would be better.

The Bucks like to play fast pace, so the Blazers should substitute frequently to keep energy high, but avoid taking out any hot hand when he is in the zone making them.

This would be an ideal game to see 60+ or even 70+ % swish3 shooting.
