Facts for those trying to hype up turner still

Facts for those trying to hype up turner still

I will say, as someone who is actually frustrated by turner (but was having fun being the devil's advocate) ... his last two games have been much better. So, there's at least a dash of promise that he can come around.

I would say last game more than this game. I'm not trying to hate turner at all. I was one of the only positive people about it but we are 12 games in we gotta start seeing something. It's tough. I don't know what to think with him

I see it in him... it really is the intangables... plus, I've seen better care of the ball... the only thing I will say is he's looking for his shot a little too much and taking touches away from Crabbe... other than that, I've liked him the last two games.

We could of paid henderson way less to come back here and he would be playing a lot better than some of these guys

Remember when we used to win home games?! Remember the comebacks? The offense? MEMBER?!?!

The way this team is playing reminds me of the 11-12 team. No cohesiveness and not team first mentality.

Missed a lot of good looks from 3 tonight. A close to average shooting night from deep and it might've been a different story. But make no mistake, Chicago was the better team tonight.

The most disheartening thing is seeing little to no improvement in what's killing this team right now. Namely, defensive rebounding and defending without fouling. Stotts' defensive scheme is never going to be one that forces turnovers at a high rate, so being above average in the other 3 factors is crucial to the success of this team.

To end on a positive, nice to see the offensive rebounding make a return in this game. Entered this game dead last in O-Board % after being 3rd last year.
Didn't convert many of those chances into points but...baby steps I guess.

Why is it bad that we are beating bad teams? That is a GOOD thing.

The fact that in some of those games we haven't been good, and then when we do face good teams (the ones you'd face in the playoffs if you get there), we have looked worse.

i swear to god this team triggers me like nothing else.
i dunno wtf id be like if i actually lived there.

meyers 0-6 0-5 3's -21

what. the. fuck. is. the. point. of. this. guy.
(besides shit hair, height, and a now albatross contract)

they shot 3 more times than us and beat us by 25, we shot 60% at the FT line...... 60%???????

our signings are hands down the worst in recent memory. we dropped like 150m and got fundamentally worse. amazing.

Well right now they are not very good. The schedule is going to get tougher too. If they can play 500 ball until January 4th they will be in good shape. But that is a big if. The only way that is going to happen is if they start playing with a chip on their shoulder. There is a lot of parity in this league from what I can tell, and anyone can beat anyone. Last year they turned the corner in January. They need to hold on until then.

Worst thing about this defeat compared to Warriors and Clippers losses is that Bulls are not even that good, and were without their starting and back up point guards, and have basically just changed key elements of the entire team bar Gibson and Butler.

I noticed everybody is more realistic about this team this year. I'm glad you guys see the truth

This poll is actually pretty telling.

We have like no freak athletes or even BIG bodies. Moe is the closest one, but most teams have like 5 guys like him stuck on the bench.

Dame's stature is pretty average for a PG, but he's really quick and can jump.
CJ is small for a SG
Moe is average for a SF
Aminu is small for PF
Plumlee is lean and can't body guys up at C

Meyers is soft pretty much everywhere, in addition to being lead footed.
Turner is small for a SF
AC is average for a SG
Ed is still getting bodied up, while becoming completely immobile this year.

Noah has the tools but doesn't know how to use them.
Ezeli can't get on the floor.

We need some athletes. Butler and Wade just bullied our backcourt while Rolo owned the middle. Calabro was on the verge of calling us soft on multiple occasions last night. He kept saying stuff like "we shoot a lot of threes" or "this is a finesse team." We all know what he meant.

Trades are definitely needed.

I am not sure we know yet how good Chicago is yet. Regardless they played well last night, and their lack of depth was not as big as a factor, as it will be on the rest of the trip.....since they had not played since Saturday. Maybe they are better with Grant than they are with Rondo and his 33% shooting percentage. It makes sense to me that a PG who can shoot fits in better along side Wade and Butler.

Wait, is the season over?

And again, watch out for blanket statement. Not every single person is..

Leonard
Vonleh
Crabbe
Pat
Turner

Now that could be a successful starting five....

At the Israeli league.

Oh trust me you can tell a lot more ppl than last year are much more realistic this year.

I'm glad that's happening bc last year I felt like I was the only one who wanted that lottery pick Bc I knew the season was pointless.
