Why does Portland always play against teams missing players?![]()

Well this is a JINX post if there ever was one.I feel if the Blazers can win this game Sunday, that they have turned the corner and shown real growth from last season... let’s hope it’s not the typical let down of the past... beating 2 elite teams like Bucks and Celtics at full health within a week would be fantastic!

The BIOFREEZE logo totally ruins it for me. It looks so out of place.
I mean look at the GE logo on the Celtics jersey:

Much less offensive. If we have to have corporate logos on NBA jerseys, can they at least not be hideous? Clearly Nike, the branding gods, have given the jersey designers the freedom to match colors with the rest of the jersey. Why can't BIOFREEZE do the same? Make that BIOFREEZE logo red with a gray border and it blends in much better

Is it as tingly as IcyHot?You should put some BIOFREEZE on that butthurt !

The stage is set and the suite is full.
Now take care of business Blazers.
Should be a great game.

Why do all these teams get to play against Portland without their starting SF and no one wants to add that to the equation.

Good teams take advantage of injured teams. Mediocre teams have letdowns against them. I don't think it's lucky for us because if we weren't good, we'd still find a way to lose some of them. It's not that it's taken out of the equation. It seems more like it is would be our lowest productive starter (by far) versus players like Harden, AD, Irving, etc. Not exactly an 'apples-to-apples' exchange.
When we get the #1 seed, you can say well, we played injured teams so we're really more of a 6 or 7 seed, and besides we're only 10 games ahead of the 9 seed. Why do all these teams get to play against Portland without their starting SF and no one wants to add that to the equation.
So then why are we discussing it?The Blazers had the fortune of playing a lot of teams last year without stars/starters. The took advantage of that to get the #3 seed.....great. That didn't matter in the Playoffs, and that is what matters most.
Don't know how to feel about this:
