I wondered about that too. How did the teams shoot half vs half?

The shooting was exactly what you would expect. Celtics shot poorly in the first half, Blazers shot well. And vice versa in the second half.

Anyone else find it a little questionable though that the Celtics had to play an entire half with a bent rim, and then it gets fixed right when the Blazers are set to use that side of the court?

The funny thing is that was my first thought when I turned on the game in the 1st quarter. I took one look and thought the basket didn't look right.

30m+ in savings and a first round pick for someone they don’t really need. Would also allow them to be players in free agency for someone like AD.

Before the season, I would have done that in a heartbeat. Now....

Turner has (finally) found the right role to help the team win. OTOH, I have doubts Hayward is ever going to be the player he used to be. Over the years, I have watched the Blazers gamble their future on too many 3-legged horses. Enough!

I for one never hated Stotts. He has proved to be a good regular season coach, winning games season after season with seriously flawed rosters. He is not a good play-off coach, but the Blazers haven't had the horses to win the title anyway.

Nurkic has to be the most under appreciated center in the NBA. From a portion of his own teams fans expecting a complete player at 24 and nitpicking everything he does, to national media completely ignoring him, to his contract, I can’t think of anybody else. Among centers, he’s now ranked in the top 5 in PER.

Aminu hit a couple of '3's but gave up 7 or 8 to Tatum/Morris. CJ shot 40% with 1 assist. Jury is still out on those two.
