Game Thread GAME# 15: BLAZERS @ KINGS - NOVEMBER 17, 2017 - FRIDAY, 7:00 (PST), NBCSNW

I missed this entire game except in the last 7 minutes. Looks like a maddening one.

Someone give me a brief summary please.

The Blazers played like typical shit. No offensive flow, tried a lot of rinky dink lineups. Nurk didn't do shit. Tried 3 guard lineup at end of game but got outrebounded.

Kings were playing with a lot more energy and toughness.

Everyone so quick to jump on the Nurk Fever train and now jump on the "Nurk sucks, start Collins" train... What are you guys going to say when Collins gets abused by every team in the NBA? The guy couldn't even stand up to summer league competition.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would argue we should start Collins, but I don't see a reason for him to be logging DNP - Coach's Decisions every night.

Once again, not trying to be negative, but we're clearly somewhere around a .500 team at best. Maybe slightly above, maybe slightly below - we'll see. Start giving Collins minutes now and it might pay off down the road. Probably not this season, but next season or the one after, it could really be beneficial for a young player.

We started slow like against Orlando, and then Stotts compounded it by playing Meyers, Layman, and then Pat for several minutes in the first quarter. Nurk got in quick foul trouble. Who knows, maybe he was trying to send some sort of message to the guys who were playing shitty again at the start of another game against a beatable opponent by putting the scrubs in so early. The bottom line is we started out in a downward spiral and compounded it with countless mental mistakes all game long. Got out worked by Sacramento and didn't play with much fire or brains. Stotts has little to no control over this team. The end.

Warriors is winning the west and even if we do make the playoffs and that’s a big IF your out the 1st round regardless
