Should we continue to use Swanigan in the starting lineup?

I don't think Stotts is making it the rest of the season. Not with that moronic lineup he had in the 2nd.

I think someone high up gave him an ultimatum. It's either try different rotations; IE try something new, or get fired.

He might just be desperate.

McLillard took 40 shots tonight... other 3 starters had 16 combined. How are other players expected to consistently contribute when they aren’t consistently involved in offense... there is no movement... just watching to ball hogs play hero ball. I like both players individually... but 2 of those guys on same team is to much

I don't think anyone in their right mind would argue we should start Collins, but I don't see a reason for him to be logging DNP - Coach's Decisions every night.

Once again, not trying to be negative, but we're clearly somewhere around a .500 team at best. Maybe slightly above, maybe slightly below - we'll see. Start giving Collins minutes now and it might pay off down the road. Probably not this season, but next season or the one after, it could really be beneficial for a young player.

If you're going to play Meyers fucking Leonard then I absolutely agree Collins should at least get minutes. Collins is more deserving at this point. Meyers is the human white flag or victory cigar depending on the situation.

We should be above .500 at the end of the year, but we're not playing like it right now. I don't think we're so far gone that we should be just throwing away the season and basically tanking by playing rookies who should still be in college. I'm not wired that way.

Something told me this morning while doing the pre game write up the were going to leave that win on the court in Sacramento.
Tough to beat a team twice. Good thing it's the Blazers turn tomorrow.

I think we will end up trading Ed Davis. He has decent value on a contender and it would free up some minutes for our two rookies.

It so does. You come after me twice in a week then complain about putting me on ignore. Yada yada. Okay.
Not everything is about you. I want to ignore Strenuus. You're fine. I like you. I didn't even know you were a mod.

If I'm Dame then I'm starting to get worried. Either they need a find a coach who knows how to use the players available or he demands they trade for some more help. There is no way he should be doing this much heavily lifting EVERY GAME. The last 10 or so games they are going to be absolutely pooped.

Because we put a D League team on the floor

raw

Which sucks, because I really like Ed as a role player off the bench. But you may be right. I have thought the same we drafted the two bigs. Obviously I think it will depend on how we're playing come the trade deadline.

I'm not wired that way either, but I'm getting closer to just saying screw it. Trade CJ, and try to get two top 7 picks to rebuild around Dame, Nurk, and Collins. It'd probably be the best move.

Those other players weren't playing well though. Hark and Noah can't hit a jumper, they only score when they get an assist near the rim. Contributions from Nurk would have been welcome, but I have no idea what was up with him tonight.

A win would've put us a half game from 3 seed and 2 games from Warriors. A loss and everything is terrible. Let's win the next three and go 11-7. Time for a win streak.

Nurk needs a LOT of work to build around, IMO. He has his nights of good play, sure... but jesus he's one of the laziest with the ball, then shoots it too hard. Then whines and flops. It's gotten really annoying.

Nurkic made Kuofos look like an All-Star tonight. That ain't on Stotts.

That pisses me off the most. Kofous is shit...I can see Stein having a good night...but Kofous...he always seems to torch us.

Wow, does CSN really need to play those Nurk ads right now?

Eww. If I trade CJ I'm wanting a player of similar value. I don't want to be perpetually building with draft picks that don't pan out most of the time. That will be a waste of Dame's prime. I would like to get him at least one really good look at a championship if it's at all possible.

Is tomorrow a must win, given the opponent and what happened tonight?

I think that questioning Stotts at this point is legitimate.

There are three close losses this season that stick out in which poor coaching proved costly, against 3 bad teams we need to beat 10/10 times

- P&R Coverage against LAC. Should have won that game, but Stotts stubbornness allowed Griffin to do as he pleased.
- Nets loss. Stotts literally allowed the worst team in the East to dictate his rotations.
- Tonight's loss to Sac. 2nd Quarter rotations, sacrificing rebounds in 4th with 3 guard lineup, poor offensive execution down stretch

Just my thoughts
