A win would've put us a half game from 3 seed and 2 games from Warriors. A loss and everything is terrible. Let's win the next three and go 11-7. Time for a win streak.

That is a small minded way to look at it... anyone can clearly see this team is flawed. They will not succeed long term... and other teams will start to pass us as their young talent develop if we keep trying to force this McLillard combo

On Nurk I have been disappointed in his play this year. I getting to believe he is his plain lazy at times. When was the last time he grab double digit rebounds in a game. Want is averaging 7 rebs a game and as big as he is he should be grabbing over 10 game. Last year we see him being aggressive not so much this year. For us to be anything this year he has to live up to his potential. He not the only one that been disappointment Turner is the other one that don't live up his potential either.

Those other players weren't playing well though. Hark and Noah can't hit a jumper, they only score when they get an assist near the rim. Contributions from Nurk would have been welcome, but I have no idea what was up with him tonight.

I think Nurk's a major rhythm player and early foul trouble fucks with his game. Not that that's an excuse, but it might help explain it. I dunno, I'm struggling to make sense of it. It's kind of baffling.

I'm not wired that way either, but I'm getting closer to just saying screw it. Trade CJ, and try to get two top 7 picks to rebuild around Dame, Nurk, and Collins. It'd probably be the best move.
We are 6th in West and haven't even had a respectable win streak yet. Perspective. Clippers are on 7 game losing streak. We're doing "okay." "Okay" means more nights like this than any fan would like but until we sign forwards who can score, this is what we have. And this is why most of us wanted Melo. At least, OKC is worse than us. We have that little thread of joy.

Is tomorrow a must win, given the opponent and what happened tonight?

Tomorow is absolutely a must win. Fuck imagine we gonna lose that game too. The Basketball World would Laugh so hard on us. Beaten two times in a row on two nights from the fucking Kings would be so emberassing. Shiiiiiit

Nobody anywhere has ever accused Kingspeed of being small minded

Will OKC be below us in the standings come seasons end? I would venture to say no, IMO.

Eww. If I trade CJ I'm wanting a player of similar value. I don't want to be perpetually building with draft picks that don't pan out most of the time. That will be a waste of Dame's prime. I would like to get him at least one really good look at a championship if it's at all possible.
CJ/Meyers for Anthony Davis seems fair

Do you not realize we have just played the easiest part of our schedule... and other teams are getting adjusted to new players...

He's not strong. And FLOPP so much!

Why? They suck. Westbrick is horrible. Takes the most shots no matter how bad he is shooting and he has two scorers in his frontline.

And it was funny because he said anything more than 3 losses during this stretch is bad (or some other variant of the word).... just... interesting to be so confident, then rationalize it after each loss, to which we have more than doubled the 3 losses.

I think tomorrow we'll see an effort like we did against Denver following the Brooklyn loss. At least I hope.... And I'll be happy to see it, but then be asking myself why we have to reach such lows before we decide to play hard.

Just keep moving the goal post... delusional

Nurks crying during his postgame interview

Theres a metaphor here that I want to make, but I won't.

Nurk saying he has the flu? I mean... that kind of explains it. I've had to play with the flu, albeit just in high school, but my brain was scrambled. Not everyone is Michael Jordan. Although I did tie my career high that night. Holy shit I'm Michael Jordan. Fuck I should have made a go at college ball.

Fuck off dude. I never say shit to you. I have my opinion and that's that. Have yours and leave me alone. I'd put you on ignore if I could.

In the post game interview, Nurk said he was playing with the flu, and was sniffling a lot...for what it's worth. He was playing like he had a fever. I think Nurkic Fever is offically dead to fans.

Apparently Nurk has been sick with the flu
