Anyone else feeling deja vu?

The Blazers must execute a level of revenge not seen since The Count of Monte Bristo. Payback's a LaMarcus Aldridge.

This is like Groundhog Day. We are Bill Murray, given a chance to learn from our mistakes and evolve into a better person (or basketball team).

Labissiere is the perfect matchup for Collins. Start the kid.

Umm....during the last game we had before tonight, people were saying that Stotts should give Layman a chance.

.............

Just saying.

I sold my tickets for this game earlier. Didn't think I'd be burned out on the season already, especially with so many home games early on. 6-4 at home and you're coming in for a rematch after scoring 82 points in a loss against a 3-11 team?

No thanks.

We smash these guys at home. Start the road trip off with a W. Lucking out by not having to face Conley in Memphis.

Nah, I think we still lose to Memphis. You were right about this season. Our role players suck.

Tough part about this trip, our “easiest” game is at Brooklyn and it will be a noon start out there. Thats damn early!

Must win, and the next games against Memphis and brooklyn are also must wins because mike Conley and deangelo russell are hurt. So we need a 3:0 streak. After that 3 games we gonna play in philly, i am not Optimistic about that game, Philly is so fucking talented and they play very good. Embiid will kill Nurkic.

Blazers vs Kings #2
It's always tough to win 2 games of a B2B against the same team!

Pretty much said this was gonna be a tough game in yesterday's pre game. Should have been a win no question but you have got to give a little credit to the Kings. They just came off a terrible road trip. They were getting hammered in the press. Their coach was talking integrity and just plain will to play tough. making comments like "It's not just losing, It's not playing hard and losing". He was calling these guys out and they were looking at trying to at least right the ship a bit. Then there is the Blazers coming in on a B2B same team turn around. The Kings knew if they lost that there was little chance of them coming to Portland and getting a win. You have veteran players like Zbo, George Hill, Garrett Temple, Cauley-Stein, and Kuofos all being called out and being told they simply don't have any heart. If the Kings lose both and get demoralizing losses to the Blazers their coach is probably gone.

You can rack this game up as a trap game. It's exactly what it was. It's the very definition of one. For some reason beyond any comprehension no Blazer not named Dame or CJ scored in double digits. Vonleh got 7 and Harkless got 6. Davis and Nurkic combined for 10??? What's with that? That is not coach Stotts. Terry Stotts was pulling his hair out (What hair he has) on the sidelines. He went with different lineups. He tried the Rookie who by the way looked terrible AGAIN. Turner 0-4 with 1 pt. That is not coach Stotts. Napier 2-7 with an ugly outing. Way too small to guard Fox and when switched on Hill he looked out classed by experience. Napier has his moments but that lineup was completely ineffective last night.

Here is the Kjironman prediction for tonight. You will see a bigger lineup and you will see some shots fall. The percentages will be reversed Blazers will shoot 42+% and the Kings will shoot under 38%. In the end this game will not be close. Blazers win this going away.

Go Blazers!

Kjironman is a fan!!!

You all can have you "Meltdown" and "Fire the Coach" threads but these types of games happen every year. You don't blow a team up for a bad game against a VERY veteran Team.

We need a big win to rest the guys in the 4 quarter. Cmon Stotts make this happen. Road trip is coming, Chief needs to return. Gotta make a run.
