• Saturday marks the second of three matchups between the Trail Blazers and Lakers in 2015-16.

• Portland defeated LAL, 107-93 in the first meeting between these two teams on Nov. 22, marking the first time that the Trail Blazers have beaten the Lakers in five straight games since 1993-95 (eight games).

• With a win, the Trail Blazers will capture their second consecutive season series against the Lakers. The last time Portland took the series in back-to-back seasons against Los Angeles was 1993-94 to 1994-95.

• The Trail Blazers have defeated the Lakers by double-digits in each of the past four games.

• Damian Lillard scored a game-high 30 points and dished out a career-high 13 assists against the Lakers on Nov. 22. Lillard has now scored at least 30 points in four of his last six games against Los Angeles.
• Damian Lillard averaged 27.0 points per game against the Lakers last season, his highest total against any Western Conference opponent in 2014-15 (second in NBA).

• Portland won all four of its games against the Lakers last season, marking the team’s fi rst sweep over LAL in 20 seasons (1993-94).

• CJ McCollum has averaged 23.0 points on 62.1% shooting in his past two games against the Lakers. McCollum has nailed five of his nine three-point attempts in that pair of contests.

• The Lakers are 24th in the NBA in three-point shooting at 31.6%, while the Trail Blazers have limited their opponents to 32.8% shooting from beyond the arc (sixth lowest in NBA). LAL has failed to make 10 or more threes in each of its past seven contests.

• Ed Davis notched career-highs of 8.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks in 79 games (24 starts) with the Lakers in 2014-15.

Yeah i have to say the Logo doesn't work for me either.

In a world of nothing, of barren hills and cracked earth and once-proud oceans drained to sand, there will still be a monument to our existence.

Bleached by the sun, perhaps, and blunted by time, but everlasting.

Because this man represents all that is eternal in the human experience….

Through the curtain of the aurora, a comet blazed to herald his arrival, and his victories shall be transcribed into every language known to history, including Klingon.

I give you America itself,

The Legend, Meyers Leonard!

Meyers looks like he's a go tonight. I wonder if he starts or comes off the bench?

Besides I don't think Stotts will be fired. There isn't anyone worthy to replace him accept thibs and he probably wouldnt take the job. I don't think Terry is in the hot seat, though it's easy to blame him for some of our losses, expectations aren't high this season.

Apparently Lou Williams is out . . .

"Lou Williams will not be with the Lakers on Saturday after the death of his grandfather, the team announced."

Does this help or hurt them?

I don't know any former Big 10 Player of the Week that um....comes off the bench. I don't know any former honorable mention All-Big 10 player that comes off the bench. I don't know any stretch 5...come off the bench. I don't know any former 11th overall pick....come off the bench. I don't know any basketball player with a brother in the Marines that come off the bench.

Why Meyers Leonard?

Lots of vermin in our building tonight. Hope you sellouts (literally) who sold your tix to these scum made a good profit at least

I would have answered yes if there was an online only option. No way in hell im stepping out of my house though.

He pump-faked once. He pump-faked again. He might have done it a third time but briefly lost control of the ball. Nuggets forward Will Barton didn't budge, staying on his feet while guarding Bryant, forcing an off-balance 10-footer that ricocheted hard off the back of the rim...

"Somebody asked me how I knew it was time to retire," Charles Barkley, a Hall of Fame player, said in a phone interview. "I said because I was pump-faking. So now I see Kobe and he's pump-faking because he's scared they are going to block his shot..."Kobe can't get open shots. He can't go around people to get layups. It's hard to make contested shots."

...He's shooting a jarringly low 31.1%, which puts him 122nd out of 122 players who qualify for NBA stat-keeping with enough attempts this season. Bryant is shooting an equally damaging 19.5% from three-point range, last out of 103 NBA stat qualifiers. He has yet to make half his shots in a game and his trademark fly-through-the-air days are gone. He does not have a dunk this season

Let's not be the first team to let Kobe shoot 50% or make a dunk!

Weird vibe down here right now as guys are shooting around. Not a normal Blazers vs Lakers buzz in the building. Very sedated, very calm. No hype!

Just smoked an Illusione Rothechiles. Damn good cigar for $4.99.

Now, let's kick these assholes back to the gang-infested hovel they came from. GO BLAZERS!
