• Monday marks the second of four matchups between the Trail Blazers and Clippers in 2015-16.

• Portland defeated the Clippers, 102-91, at the Moda Center on Nov. 20 behind a game-high 27 points from Damian Lillard.

• In that game, Ed Davis contributed 17 points (7-8 FG) and 15 rebounds off the bench. Davis has now had 10+ boards in back-to-back games against the Clippers (11, 4/7/15).

• Los Angeles is 1-3 in the second contest of back-to-back games this season (lost three straight).

• The Clippers have won six of their past seven games against Portland at the Staples Center.

• The Clippers, who won three of four games against the Trail Blazers in 2014-15, have won the season series in three of the past four years.

• Over the past six seasons (2009-10), whichever team has won the first game of this series has claimed the season series (Por. won fi rst game on 11/20).

• The Trail Blazers are ranked ninth in the NBA with 45.2 rebounds per game, while the Clippers are averaging 41.8 boards per contest (26th in NBA).

• Portland was 1-0 last season when limiting the Clippers to under 100 points, and 0-3 when LAC reached the century mark in scoring.

• Trail Blazers President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey served as the Clippers’ Vice President of Basketball Operations for two seasons from 2010-12. The Clippers reached the NBA Playoffs under Olshey’s guidance in 2011-12, marking the team’s first postseason appearance since 2005-06.

• Portland forward Al-Farouq Aminu was drafted eighth overall by Los Angeles in the 2010 NBA Draft and averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in his lone season with the Clippers.

4 wins vs LA teams in 5 games would be awesome. The Clippers stuffed their bench with a bunch of big name FAs but it hasn't worked out. They're barely hanging on to a playoff spot. Go Blazers!

Would like to see us win this one but doesn't seem likely.

Maybe if Hendo gets a DNP and Meyers pretends he's in Memphis we can do it.

Wow pretty crazy were one win behind the 7th seed in the west and one win above the 13th place team in the west. The bottom part of our conference looks like it may ultimately play out as the East has the last decade. A number of teams with losing records will be in a tight race to sneak into the last few playoff spots.

3 games behind the 4 seed. Think big!

Mason said it well...when we play a complete game on both sides of the court, we can beat anybody.

Vonlehs impact in games is completely invisible.

Wow, our tank is looking really good tonight!

I'll be surprised if we win this game. Clippers look like they want it.
