Should be a good test to see if they will be a decent team with Trochek going forward. They better start building their record above .500 soon if they want a chance of making the playoffs.

Since they won at home I figured they'd repay us with a road loss, but maybe not 🤓

And Igor gives up a softie to some fucking scrub. 7.5 million a year has picked up a little. About time

Panarin still has it. I would do three years at 11 million a year. Takes the pressure off the young guys on the team to produce all the time.

I think with the cap going up he will get in the $7-8 range per year, which is probably worth it as he's still in his early 30's.

Huge difference with Vinny back, the Rangers did a nice job converting a few turnovers into goals. As long as Fox is scoring he's tolerable, irrelevant now with the NTC locked in, finally threw a puck at the goal during the PP and Cuylle converts it. He needs to return to one of the top offensive dmen in the NHL or there's no point playing him so many minutes. Tough schedule last few weeks of the month will be a good indicator of where this team stacks up. I think we should start a petition to demand Laraques return the money he stole from Rempe teaching him how to fight.

LTIR for Rempe is a massive bummer. Hopefully the kid learned that there is minimal upside to challenging one of the all-time toughest players in the NHL to a fight pre-puck drop. Surprised I'm saying this but it's pretty clear he is a better player than 'enforcer'.

Honestly, the team looks better without Rempe. Roobroeck looks like he's NHL ready to assume a 4th line spot.
