It's all about matchups and this is a bad one IMO. I would feel better if Jones is back to help with Giannis. (6 extra fouls-rebounding)
But I anticipate a lot of wide open 3's for Lopez. Might as well give the zone D a try, not the whole game but occasionally. I think we get killed on the boards either way.
 
Gonna be a tough game. Giannis is tough enough and Holiday always kills us. We need more Dame time.
 
Antetokounmpo should have came to Portland. He would be the perfect Robin type player. I don't think he'll ever lead a team to a championship. After his contact is up maybe he'll decide he wants a championship and come play with Dame in PDX!

This young guy put these numbers on the Bucks last night...... maybe one of ours can too.

1) Bucks are way more talented - especially given all our injuries.
2) Holiday has the ability to give Dame problems on his own and he's got Middleton and Giannis to back him up.
3) Lopez will be pulling Kanter out of the key, going to expose him on defense
4) We are going to have a REALLY hard time matching up with their forwards.

Is it possible? Sure. I think it's highly highly unlikely.

Their starters are better.
Their bench is better.
Their coach is better.

We need to get healthy quickly.
 
Giannis probably for tomorrow. Cmon Giannis, just rest up, we need another win.
 
Wow, Vegas has us at +9.5 for the spread. The Bucks have been playing like shit lately. We haven't been playing great and still won't have DJJ back but if I was a betting man I would bet that we'll make it closer than that. If anyone thinks that Jrue is going to shut Dame down one on one, they haven't been paying attention to how Jrue's teams have taken Dame out of games. Jrue constantly has help. I think Dame will go off again tonight and I think we have a chance to win and definitely make it competitive. I bet the spread goes down by two points before the game. A lot of betters will take the Blazers and 9.5 points.

Bucks' defense has been really bad but Giannis isn't gonna let them lose three in a row. After Lamelo destroyed them last game, I think the Bucks will wake up.

Combine that with our shorthanded roster, and I think we get blown out tonight.

I can't expect anything anymore, but as an irrational Blazermaniac, I sure hope they do...

I definitely agree with the thought that if this gets out of hand by early third, we should raise the white flag and focus on a win in Washington.
 
I think we will get blown out but please let me be wrong and we get the W!
