Nurk on the block, Vonleh crashing the boards and three guards doesn't look bad. I don't mind this type of 'small' lineup because you have 2 bigs. Vonleh is still finding himself wide open under the hoop quite a bit with no one getting him the ball but maybe that just is too much to ask for.

The way we started it didn't look good a decent 2nd QT. Dame 15 points and 6 assists that half so he getting other players and scoring too. That what I like to see from him. CJ also 15 points and Nurk with 9 points but only 3 rebounds but he has 2 blocks I like to see board more. Neg we gave up 7 offense boards we need correct that this 2nd half.

Harkless finally got a pass doing something that is his strength. Nice pass from Nurkic for the easy dunk.

I was posting in the 'Shooting' thread when this happened.
I think Blazers offense is missing a good distributor. Last year Plumlee was their defacto PG by running & playing out if the high post.

After the Nurk trade, Portland used Nurk in the same manner (but he wasn't quite as efficient).

This year it feels like we hardly ever run stuff out of the high post. The backdoor cut & dunk by Mo was one of the few times I've seen it this year.

It looked like they attempted it a second time in this Nets game, but Nurk wasn't positioned well & was staring down the cutter. He realized it wasn't open & backed it out

It really makes no sense that we don't run more. We are one of the youngest teams in the league and have a lot of athletes.
