It wasn't pretty, but it was important !! I'm glad Crabbe is gone. Harkless will prob be next to go to make some room for Swanigan and Collins to play some. Plus when Aminu gets back things are going to change for the better

I'm not very high on Caleb, IMO at best he's a decent role player, I think ZC has a lot more upside but it goin to take a few yrs

Yep Nurk played great. His passing is much more effective when he doesn't throw a bounce pass.
My one complaint was his outside shot with 2:30 to go. Those are fine to take early in the game when you are not as tired, but in crunch time....there was little chance it was going in.

5:00 - Dame with a poor 25' shot for '3' very early in the shot clock. WAY better shots you can get. (Bad shot - no points)
5:28 - CJ hero ball going 1-on-4 (Poor shot - no points)
Missed the time - Nurk creates FTs (2 points)
2:58 - Dame goes 1-on-3 and gets stuffed at the rim. (Poor decision - no points)
2:06 - Dame gets bailed out by creating contact basically running into Allen which Hurd even mentioned. Rookie's just don't get calls. (2 FTs)
1:45 - Dame gets stuffed again but Nurk is fouled on the follow. (1 of 2 FTs)
1:17 - CJ goes 1-on-2 and gets the high floater to go. (Tough shot - 2 points)
0:56 - Shabazz goes 1-on-1 with hesitation for the layup and one. Very good shot. (3 points)
0:28 - Nurk stuffed on the roll (Dame gave him the pass at 15'....wait just a bit) but Nurk recovers, steals the outlet and scores...and one. (Good shot - 3 points)
11.4 - CJ fouled. Lucky because he wasn't across halfcourt when Dame threw it to him from the frontcourt. (1-of-2 FTs)
2.3 - Nurk gets 2 FTs but misses both.

Not many good shots but enough against a bad team. A win on the road is a good win but giving up 125 points to the Nets without Russell?

Where is the Nurk takes a wide open outside shot early in the shot clock and misses? (around the 2:30 mark)

^^^ I missed one or two in there....couldn't quite type fast enough.

We had 23 assist after the 3 QT we just had 1 assist in the 4th. I like what I seen in 2nd and 3rd by getting everyone in involve. Dame had I strong game game with 34 points 9 assist. Nurk had beast game 29/15/3/4 today.

That is why I was charting the last 5 minutes...to see what types of shots they were getting. You are quite right in pointing out how many assists they got through 3 quarters and the basically it went to her0/one-on-one ball.

We could have gotten blown out by 60, missed 88% of our shots, had to play the scrubs because they were the only people to make buckets, and it STILL would have been more fun than working retail from 4:30 am to 2 PM on black friday.

I'm glad we won, but it was ugly and dependable on luck. The Blazers should have destroyed the Nets. There are a lot of glaring issues with this team right now. There are not enough shooters on this team, Stott's offensive scheme is dependent on shooters. Stott's it seems can't be flexiabl

However it’s amazing looking back earlier in the chat, people complaining about dame or cj not getting players involved. Dame had 9 assists. Cj has 5. Not sure what else you want them to do just to get our scrub role players some looks. We need actual role players around dame and cj, it can work.

Our wings are just so bad, it’s amazing to me we pretty much traded away batum for vonleh. Then we said hey crabbe and turner, do you want insane contracts?! Sure, here. Meanwhile batum is still better than both. Should of kept him

Dame and CJ did a good job getting other players involved but other players was getting assist too due everyone was sharing the ball. Bottom line they play like a team on the offense today.

Nice. My stuffing this year has hand picked chantrelles, Oregon white truffles, and birch boletes. Oh, and duck fat. Never forget the duck fat.
