Fuck that guy. He takes himself WAY to seriously. Poison Idea came out with an EP where they made fun of him. I think that's hilarious.

I like Fugazi and Minor Threat, but yes, Ian takes everything way too seriously. I'm actually close friends with a guy who played in Poison Idea for quite a while. I honestly have no idea how he is still alive.

Let's just say that my friend is the only one who isn't fucking huge.

My friend told me stories about going to Pig's place to try to get him to come to band practice. There was some insane, foul, and vile things going on there.....haha.

You ever go to Foster Burger? There walls are covered in old original La Luna concert posters. I could sit in that place for hours just reading those old flyers. The music scene was insane.

La Luna was something else. I remember going there with friends during the 90's and seeing bands like Sublime, Cherry Poppin Daddies, and Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel.

I was at the Les Claypool slow. Was that when he announced that Bryan Mantia was the new Primus drummer? Man he was like a sledgehammer that night.

So here is an example of some of what I've been referencing. Dame drives against 2 players and gets a floater to go in. But Vonleh was standing under the basket WIDE OPEN for the uncontested dunk. So while Dame gets the bucket, a teammate has done the right thing, got wide open for the easiest shot possible and instead Dame throws up a tougher shot that goes in.

Just saw it again with a CJ floater that went in but Pat was WIDE OPEN with no one anywhere near him for an uncontested jumper.

Both shots went it but it doesn't help teammates develop a rhythm, make easy shots which well also help later on in scoring balance and also getting Dame/CJ easier shots.

Happened again near the end of the game, and could very well have lost the game for us. Dame drove to the basket, drawing the defenders. Meanwhile Nurk was rolling to the hoop. Instead of making the open dish to Nurk for an easy dunk, Dame took and missed a degree of difficulty 8 shot. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Yeah two different defenders fouled him hard, and no whistle. It was pretty unbelievable.

So looking at the box score, the “big three” played the best together all year in terms of numbers and we still have up 125 to Brooklyn and only won by two? I mean whatever I will take it. However it’s amazing looking back earlier in the chat, people complaining about dame or cj not getting players involved. Dame had 9 assists. Cj has 5. Not sure what else you want them to do just to get our scrub role players some looks. We need actual role players around dame and cj, it can work.

People were possibley complaining because either;

A: They were coming off a game the two combined for 2 assists total or
B: 14 assist is 67% higher than their season average and almost anything good against the Nets should be taken with a grain of salt....they are terrible.

What a boring first half, both teams were playing awfully, I almost fell asleep. The second half was more interesting.
