You are right, but if Batum has hurt his shoulder and needs surgery, that dramatically changes the series.

I won't go directly to "he needs surgery" at this point. But, if your hypothetical proves correct, yes, it pretty much over.

So far they figured out how to:

1) Shut down Andre Miller

2) Shut down LMA

3) Kill us on the boards

4) Speed up the tempo

5) Realize that Rudy doesn't need to be defended

Yea, there's no trouble signs here. This is just a fluke.

Yeah, I don't think the Suns will win by nearly 30 points every game for the rest of the series. This game is a fluke. I'm not sure how that makes me .

are the fans booing or what the fuck are they doing?

The reason this game got away from us is because Camby couldn't make layups and LMA got in early foul trouble. We'll be fine next game. But Rudy has to sit it out.

Rudy and LMA lead the team in FT's (5-6 each) and Rudy is -11 to Andre's -24.

There's warning signs that the homer fans here are completely ignoring. As spelled out above. This is a change in the series, not some sort of hot shooting night for the Suns. They have figured out how to stop the Roy-less Blazers.

Rough night for Bayless, but that is probably expected since this is essentially his first playoff series. At least he did not totally blow like Rudy and Aldridge.

I guess the series is over. Time for you to go fishing, I assume.

Suns are screwed. Grant Hill won't shoot 10 of 11 again. They've kissed their homecourt advantage goodbye and we have a team that is very good at responding to a tough game. Game 3 starts at 0-0. When was the last time Phoenix won in Portland?

Grant Hill shot 10-11 tonight. Richardson is 11-16. If they shoot like they do normally do and Camby makes wide open layups, this is a close game right now.

The Suns haven't figured us out any more than we figured them out in Game 1. It's a Best of 7 series. Sweeps are rare. These things go back and forth. But we have the edge. They haven't won in our building in the last couple years.

I'm not a homer fan. Your opinions aren't fact. Miller played like shit, Aldridge got in foul trouble, and Bayless came back to earth. Rudy is the biggest concern at this point. He doesn't even look like he belongs in the NBA.

Still clueless?

Wow, what a solid arguement/rebuttal...whatever. I like how you back up your view (whatever it may be assuming you have one) with facts, references, stats, and logic.

Oh wait, I was thinking of someone else.

Rudy's NBA career may be over in a year. He won't get playing time next season and that will make him want to go back to Spain.

No need to. Your posts are bad enough I don't have to back it up. Yeah, Rudy had more assists than Miller at one point when you pointed it out. Obviously Rudy > Miller. Oh wait, you're just clueless. Basketball is probably not a sport you should follow since you don't seem to understand it much.

Rudy= 3 of 16 in three NBA playoff starts. He's a bust in this league.

This was a horrible game for us but it doesn't spell out doom. Suns were red hot couldn't miss and we couldn't hit. The suns played about the best basketball they could hope to and we didn't step it up ourselves. These things happen, we'll be at home next game and will want revenge.

This game is no BFD. We didn't win 2, so fucking what? We took homecourt advantage. Phoenix couldn't miss, and that took us out of our game early. Anyone who things Phoenix took back THE momentum is mistaken. It's early, we're tied up, we have home court advantage. AND Roy may return to boot. I expected us to come back from Phonix down 2-0, and was still thinking we'd have a chance. So 1-1, I ain't worried (at least not about the Blazers, but what STD's is HCP getting in Phonix??)... In fact, we rolling...

Wow, I go back and read the posts. KS and I, of all people, have similar views on this. What's wrong with me?

I think there's a very real possibility that Rudy is sand bagging so that he is traded.

Bayless or Martell can start at the 2. Mills can play back up PG. Rudy is not needed.

Rudy= 3 of 16 in three NBA playoff starts. He's a bust in this league.

He's 25 years old and he's been a pro for 8 seasons. He is what he is at this point, isn't he? He's not suddenly going to turn into a point guard, or even someone who can drive to the hoop without turning the ball over. May as well go big and start Martell next game.

Yeah, like using a single-game +/- stat... showing that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Learn about the stats. Learn the game. Then, still don't post.

Traded for what? Some practice shorts and some used practice balls? His salary is too low to get anything of value in return, unless somebody wants to trade a draft pick for him.

I think you're right. What he doesn't realize is that now, no one will want him. Rudy MUST be benched in Game 3. He shouldn't play AT ALL.

It amazes me how many people here don't understand the schtick's of some posters.

2nd, but I realize you just hopped on the bandwagon recently.
