Blow out Game… o-2 start then Clippers. Yikes

Probably one of the toughest games of the year. Experienced unit going up against relatively new group in new HC's second game ever.

Nassir should start, Norman is to small to play SF

It is obvious. I'm not sure why we still play 3 small guys. I hope this is not "Melo legacy" situation, when CJ and Powell have minutes in S5 in contracts.
This lineup still screams for size.

A bunch of people have agreed with you here. I think maybe it's time to move CJ into the 6th man role and move Powell to the SG spot personally. Let him come in off the bench and take games over the way we all know he can. The more i watch him the more i feel he would be a perennial 6th man of the year. Great teams all have the guy that comes in and gives you a spark off the bench. But then again I'm not an NBA coach.

Nice CC, but it's a wasted opportunity with the F1 x NBA liveries.

Could have used this for the Suns:

and since they did not do the Blazers one, could have used this one insteead:

or if you are very disappointed in the Blazers so far this year, this one:

i so want that matchbox car. For sale?

Yeah, it was talked over in the summer and I'd love to try it as well. I think it could be a little of an ego problem on the way.

I'll be guesting on Rip City Radio 620 tomorrow around 4:45PM to preview the game.

way to go! Are you recording it by chance? Ill be in the studio. But would love to get a podcast of it or something to listen to?

Does anyone have stats on how well Ant and cj do when playing together without Dame?

Ive wanted cj off the bench since we got Norman. bUt as Ant progresses, will their games overlap too much and not optimize each of them, due to redundancy, if we bring cj off the bench?

one of them has to go in a trade. Id prefer it to be cj because he will return more and Ant is still on a rookie salary we have control of.

Only problem i have with trading CJ is what we all witnessed against the Kings. There are times when Dame is off and it seems Simons and Powell cannot make up that void. CJ can and has a number of times.

good point though with ant looking like he is ready to take another step and neither him or powell really put into cj’s role. Im not sure its certain they cant do the same.
When on the court with cj, they know cj is the man and that changes thier drive and decision making i think. Remove cj and release the chains and i think ant grows into a cj.

Might work. It just might work. This season as far as I'm concerned all bets are off and all positions are up for grabs.
New Coach, New bench, New schemes, This team has the next 20-30 games to find a real good rotation and they all need to buy into it no mater what their position and pecking order was in years past.
If they don't want to do that then they can find themselves on another teams roster where they can do exactly the same thing. Earn their position.

prettty much agree other than Dame. But yeah. No position should be “saved” for someone. I hope NO doesn't interfere aNd dictate to Billups what he thinks should happen with the rotations.

We are too small
Ant needs more minutes
Ant needs more shots
Powell needs more shots
(he got 9 while Dame/CJ got 24 each)
Nas needs more minutes

.....this is all quite easily fixable with one single move.
