It isn't much of a comparison. Dame has a body of work that completely outshines what he has done this season.

Not every player is the same. Curry could have a longer prime than Lillard.

I'm not ready to say Lillard is experiencing irreversible decline. If I had to bet on "the major factor" it would be that the abdominal strain that he was able to play through when he was younger and has either gotten worse over time or his ability to play through it has weakened as he's gotten older.

Didn't say it was now, but at some point it is inevitable. And to pick the one exception so far in Curry almost proves the rule. It is much more likely there is a decline than there is to maintain like the rare exception. It's why I have so despised the last 5 years. To me it was a complete waste to pair Dame with CJ and that has proven out. It sucks that has been the case, but they haven't been anywhere near being a legit contender.....no real growth.

Just time going by.

I think hes probably dealing with a injury that he needs to address instead of coming in playing hurt and poorly. or hes fallen off its happened to a lot really good players sometimes in their early 30s
