We are struggling against this bad heat team with injuries. Just not acceptable. We really should be blowing them out. It's the same issue every game. Defense. Interior defense. All of it. It's gotten a tiny bit better but it's obvious we need a trade for a decent rim protector

This may be the best D we've played all year.

By far. But let's not get ahead of ourselves: they have 5 guys out with injury, and one starter kicked out with two Ts. And we're tied.

That's pretty bad.

That Plumlee tip to Harkless was almost exactly like the rebound late in the Houston series when Dame jumped in bounds and they claimed he wasn't established and gave the ball to Houston. Of course we know how that turned out. :notworthy:

The difference is we played great with Aminu but not Turner. Soon, we will have both helping the team.
ET has learned how to play with his new teammates, and they have learned how to play with him.

Aminu will be rusty when he comes back, so I hope people give him some time to get back into his groove (especially shooting) before they are too critical of him.

Ahh, who am I kidding? The usual suspects will rag on him right away.

Last three games

11-13
5-7
5-6 (tonight)

I wouldn't call that "bad" by any standard

By his standards it is. 5 of 7 is 20% lower than his average.

"Okay Aminu is Awful"

Miami scored 111 on Utah's D in Utah. Our defense looks better than that.

I wonder what the excuse will be tonight.

Blazers are not that good. You have to judge them on a curve

I can't even recall the last time a blazer team was this bad at home

How is Dragic still owning Dame? Thought we were past this nonsense

Huh? Our D is better than it's been for most of the season. We've just had some trouble with our shooting. It's certainly not out worst game in years or even this season.

2 days rest, back to back games at home. Miami is missing players with injury. I can't believe we are even in this position right now but once again it's the same reasons for every other loss. It's crazy the 180 this team has done over a summer

Miami scored 111 on Utah's D just a few days ago.

You can't even acknowledge how bad this game is, you would rather talk about how good we are. If we were so good we would be blowing them out right now. lol
