???After the boos I'd like to see Stotts give him the start next game...let him play 12 minutes or so..just to say...we're a team.

It's never that cut and dried....you can not start and play the same minutes..they are staggered differently, hot nights, cold nights, matchups... and it requires less effort to guard bench players than to guard starters...which is why I think CJ would eat those guys for lunch...nobody but BGD will ever agree with me about it...I want a longer starting 2 guard who's a two way player and good passer...ball protector...also think without CJ's need to shoot a lot early...other guys get touches..like Vonleh...but I'm not the coach..I think Melo should come off the bench in OKC too...people scoff at that as well@riverman
CJ gets 36min.
Less than a 3minutes break isn't enough.
Bringing him in before the 6minute mark of the 1st and 3rd quarters defeats the purpose of bringing him off the bench.
Bringing him in at the 6min mark means he'd have to play the rest of the half to get his 18minutes a half.
So where does he get his 36 minutes off the bench while getting rest at the right time?
Of course, but on a regular night, when are you predicting CJ plays off the bench? It's never that cut and dried....you can not start and play the same minutes..they are staggered differently, hot nights, cold nights, matchups... and it requires less effort to guard bench players than to guard starters...which is why I think CJ would eat those guys for lunch...nobody but BGD will ever agree with me about it...I want a longer starting 2 guard who's a two way player and good passer...ball protector...also think without CJ's need to shoot a lot early...other guys get touches..like Vonleh...but I'm not the coach
I don't do math after lunch and a power napSo tell me when he should be normally subbed in and out.
I think it's still in play probably...somewhere in the east...Olshey usually tries to put players in situations where they'll get a shot when he trades themSeems to me Mo wanted to get traded and didn't, and that is the source of his demotivation (aka: pouting like a petulant toddler who didn't get his way). I don't think he had a problem with Neil shopping him. He's from NY and posted photos of himself in NYC over the summer during all the Melo trade rumors. I think he's moping because Neil didn't make it happen, not because he tried.

I have a different take. Last season Dame really helped Harkless out. He made sure to reach out to him when he was struggling, and let him know that he was important to the team and to be ready when he was called upon. There was a whole article about it. And you could see that Harkless really enjoyed playing with, and appreciated Dame.Seems to me Mo wanted to get traded and didn't, and that is the source of his demotivation (aka: pouting like a petulant toddler who didn't get his way). Then the summer comes and the guy who had your back, who pulled you out of your funk, the team's leader and best player publicly recruits a guy that you'll be traded for. And the team's second best player joins him in open recruitment of your replacement. Basically, the team's two best players are stabbing you in the back.
Yeah, I get that it's a business. And Mo needs to be more professional. But he's a 23 year old kid, who was basically told for the past 5 months "we don't want you here".
I hope Dame and CJ learn a lesson about the effects of openly recruiting players. It's one thing to recruit a Free Agent to fill a vacancy. But it's entirely different to recruit a player to waive a no-trade clause to replace one of your brothers. Poor form by Dame/CJ this summer.
Totally disagree here. Last year's Mo was better than last year's (or this year's) Melo. It shows that Dame/CJ don't recognize what Mo contributed last season, and recruited a worse player solely on name recognition. And people around here call Meyers Leonard mentally weak.
So now we're blaming Mo's poor performance on Dame and C.J.? How about a little accountability? How about placing the blame at the feet of the guy getting paid $10 million a year who has been a complete no show?
If you don't want to be shopped in trades, or have your teammates recruit a 12-time all star to replace you, the solution is simple: play better. Or, at least play like you give a fuck.
I don't blame Dame and C.J. one tiny bit for trying to recruit Melo. They were right, small forward is, by far, our weakest position, and Mo is the reason why.

I do agree that only Mo is to blame for Mo's play this season. But it's understandable if you look at the circumstances. If you can't understand why Mo is pouting, then you don't understand human behavior. Mo could (and should) rise above being sold out by the guys he thought were his brothers, but it's the rare 23 year old that's able to do so...and actually, age has little to do with it; most people would have a hard time in this sort of situation.
But at this point Mo needs to be traded, both for his sake and the team's sake. But half the roster needs to be traded - it's not just a Mo thing.

You not doing the math is why you still think CJ off the bench is a good decision. The math doesn't add up without a negative byproduct that you haven't accounted for.I don't do math after lunch and a power nap
Wait, you're not blaming Dame for Moes BS? I'm surprised.Dame did his best for that weak ass player. Dame can’t do everything for him. Harkless can’t even make WIIIIIDE open 3 pointers anymore. Fuck Mo and let his ass rot on the bench
