What’s Portland’s record without CJ since he’s been starting?

I want Arik Armstead any Deforrest Buckner back! :smiley-bigcry:

Are they out? I haven't been paying much attention this year. After it was obvious they weren't going to win more than 2 games, I just tanked it and blew off going to our 49er Club. Last I saw though, I thought Armstead played last weekend against Seattle?

Armstead. I can't stand this guy. It absolutely cannot be understated just how bad of a GM Trent Baalke was. What the hell he saw in Armstead is a mystery to science. This guy was no better than a 5th round pick, and he took him in the 1st. Pathetic.

Oh, and Lynch isn't off the hook....I knew Thomas was going to be a colossal bust, and surely enough, he is. I was so pissed when we drafted him. And I laughed at Chicago at the time for making that trade.....they definitely got the better end of the deal.

Too small to play inside, and too slow to play on the outside. Bust.

They are remaking that movie. It's gunna be a piece of shit. They are turning the Lee Van Cleef role into an icey Robin Wright type. The Isaac Hayes character is going to be the playboy CEO of a chemical company. It's going to lose the John Carpenter signatures that made it so good in the first place. The only good thing about the remake is that Robert Rodriguez is directing it.

Who is playing Snake?

I don't know. Just know they were good players for the Ducks. Buckner is having a Pro Bowl year.

Wanna know what makes me cry? I was listening to an interview with Lynch where he basically said they offered more for Mack but Oak didn’t wanna trade him across the bay. That means oak could of had 1 and 2. You guys think being a blazer fan is hard try being a hardcore raiders fan since 87.
To be fair, if the 49ers would've gotten Mack they likely wouldn't be so bad and who knows if Jimmy G gets hurt either.

I love Jake's cutting. That was such a perfect flash... We don't have enough of those.
Terry runs that delay split action a lot, especially with Mo. It's just that smarter, more talented teams are better equipped to take that look away.

Elie Okobo and Jamal Crawford on the other hand...

You don't know what pain is until you've been a NJ Jets fan for most of your life. There are new ways to be humiliated you never thought existed.

His TS% is low because of his 2pt shooting is terrible, like I said. His AST:TO ratio is bad, but hes also not touching the ball up top a whole lot so it's hard to build a rhythm. So 2pt shooting and playmaking have been poor, which contributed to all those advanced stats... so I dont see what you're trying to get at here.

I'm getting at that he's been terrible....just like some people are saying

* he has a 50.5% TS rate when his previous two seasons it was 60.3% and 60.1%

* he has a eFG% of .488 when his previous two seasons it was .567 and .588 (the stat that weighs two's vs three's)

* he has a PER of 5.0 when his previous two seasons it was 13.8 and 15.5

* he has an assist rate of 6% when his previous two seasons it was 14.2% and 16.0%

* he has a winshare/48 of .001 when his previous two seasons it was .097 and .110...and he was playing on losing teams

* he has a box plus/minus of -4.2 when his previous two seasons it was -1.5 and +1.4

apparently. you're saying all that doesn't matter because he's shooting three's well, but he's shooting 31% on two's and has taken 82 of them compared to only 40 three's; that represents a lot of empty possessions

I'm positive that even Curry himself would say he's playing poorly. That's not the kind of overall production Portland imagined when they signed him. He is new to the team and he's coming off a major injury, so he's likely still adjusting, but it's completely accurate to label his play so far in negative terms

Not sure why Houston gave away Melton so easily.

I'm not shocked he dropped in the draft. Offensive questions coming out and doesn't really have standout size or athleticism.

I also think teams were lower on him after the interview process...but man. Super fluid and instinctive. Makes the little winning plays that go unnoticed and the shot looks like it's coming along.

CJ looks like Morris Day from the Movie Purple Rain here...Jungle Love! Oh ee oh ee oh!

Were the Blazers so much better or the Suns just awful?

The Suns made a huge mistake by drafting Ayton and not doncic. Ayton is just the black Kanter, good Post Player without range and a awful Defender. Not that type of Center you want today

The Suns were awful. Quite frankly that's about as bad of a team as I've seen in awhile.
They need guys like Jackson and Warren to step and learn how to be effecient scorers. They’re main problem is offensively they are maybe the least dynamic team I have ever seen... I do realize they were missing booker.

The Suns have three rookies I really like (Bridges, Okobo, Melton)... If they find a way to get Hachimura or Tillie in the draft this season, they might end up being my 2nd favorite team.
Mikal is such a waste on that roster. He'd be perfect as a complimentary piece on a contending team but he's just not an Alpha type.

Makes you wonder if Terry has a mandate to play Moe from Neil. Mentioned it a few weeks back, but Jake does not deserve DNPs. Terry mentioned after the game when asked why Jake doesn't play that "getting Moe in the starting lineup is a priority."

Why?

That’s sad. Looks like it’s a money thing. It probably kills them a minimum guy does much more than a 40M dollar player
