This would be the most shocking win of the season. The Warriors are playing the best ball in the league and we're not close to that. If CJ plays he will actually make the final score worse. Maybe the team and CJ will prove me wrong and do the miraculous by beating the Golden State Warriors. GO BLAZERS!!! Go CJ make every GM in the NBA want you besides ours.

I have to say, for established players I don't think any single game, or even a stretch of a half dozen great games, makes any difference in trade value. CJ has played 610 NBA games. Every GM knows what he is. There's no hidden upside to discover. Same is true for Dame by the way

Good another loss. Keep the optimism alive guys. A lot to look forward to rebuilding this team.

Oh, every time I say that shit it's just for fun. GMs know who CJ is and what they'd get with him. Dude's shooting over 39% from three and getting 20ppg in a new offense and he's still the same shitty defender. I like the joke that something good he does catches the eye of NBA execs but really it's just another way for me for the millionth time to say "Trade CJ!!!"

As far as Dame goes if we wanted to trade him today and start all over with a new team, Dame would fetch a kings ransom. His value is a top ten player in the league. I guarantee that's how he's viewed by every GM out there.

can this please be bulletin board material? anyone on this team got pride?

reporters asking curry if he can get 16 threes against us on wednesday. he responds that it's possible.

for fucks sake.

He's a great player, and probably will break it against us. But hopefully, in a Blazer Uniform, Dame will return the favor against them down the line.

jesus, i can't believe how much we're getting clowned 2 days before the game

Wow! Just noticed it was 16. That's 3 times as many as we made tonight. Not cool with him making even close to that many.

the level of disrespect is staggering. when did we become the butt of all these jokes?

i really hope our guys see this. from kerr, especially.

you better believe all the espn previews will have this.

It's nothing new. They've always been smug.

That being said, i know Dame could hit that many when he's on. So Curry could as well. Even when contested. When those dudes are on, it's other worldly. Kerr only stating facts. Blazers need to worry about themselves.

High draft picks
So I'm going to break this down for you and then maybe you'll stop saying this shit. If we are going to trade Dame and everyone else besides Ant and Nas for draft picks, we have to know what those draft picks are. So for your plan you need to wait until the off season after the draft lottery and then try to get the picks you want. If you trade Dame to a team now, for picks, what happens to that team's picks? They get worse because now they have Dame. The same goes for whatever scraps we would get for CJ. In your dream scenario where we suck for the next decade hoping we hit on some picks RoCo and Nurk would need to go asap. We could probably get a mid lottery first for Norm leading up to the draft. So just stop with the blow it up garbage until the off season.

If you want us to rebuild with younger players that are already proven to be talented but not as ready to contribute as what we have right now, I can understand that kind of blowup starting now. That being said, you been tellin us that we should go the OKC route which is a terrible idea at any time (see where OKC is) and it's especially stupid when you do it mid season. The other thing is, as much as this is a business, this organization will not be trading Dame to a situation that he hates being in... so Dame can only yield late firsts.

Klay is not a starter.

The problem is that we cannot defend threes. It could be the most under utilized player on the Warriors bench who could torch us at this point in time.

Not sure where the disrespect it. Portland is terrible defending '3's. Time after time, opponents will get WIDE OPEN '3's against us. Scrubs will have season/career highs. Someone asked him a question and he said 'it was possible'. He didn't say he would, nor was he making any type of guarantee or prediction. There is a reason the reporter asked the question.....because it would seem to have a higher chance of happening with our defense and then the injuries.

I get that is sucks where we are as a franchise right now, but seems like we are getting too easily offended. Then again, that is a very Portland thing....which will probably offend some. :drinkapint:

Seems CJ's injury is worse than expected: collapsed lung. Sounds serious. Probably a couple weeks???

Here are the things I would like to see. Bring the ball up quickly and attack as soon as possible. If no opportunity then I would hope for a lot of player and ball movement, (Although I am guessing we will try to post Nurk a lot; I hope that he will be ready to pass out if he doesn't have good position and one on one.) On defense I want to see us getting back quickly and working hard and communicating and being smart. I want to see us fight for every rebound and loose ball. If they do all that and still lose by 30, I'd feel ok.
