• Wednesday marks the first of four matchups between the Trail Blazers and Thunder in 2015-16.

• Portland won three of its four games against Oklahoma City in 2014-15, marking the first time that the Trail Blazers have claimed a season series over the Thunder since 2009-10.

• The Trail Blazers last won the season series over OKC in consecutive years from 2008-09 to 2009-10.

• Portland claimed the Northwest Division championship in 2014-15, snapping Oklahoma City’s streak of four straight seasons as division champions (2010-11 to 2013-14).

The Thunder home record and our road record are not equal. However, I am playing the homer card these days and hope for a stunning 111 -105 win

Not to critique, but doesn't it rain and thunder HERE in P-Town more than OKC? And what is that behind our logo? Fire? Definitely hotter there than here! C'Mon DarkWingDuck, you are better than this.
Time for The HCP to take over the game threads again I think!

No. While it rains more often in Portland, thunderstorms are significantly more common in Oklahoma (and Texas) than in Portland, and more impressive and severe as well.

Your logic of the weather does not impress me.

Not me? Who else is there worth impressing? Would love to hear this list.
Who are you more interested in impressing with your A/V geek skills--people like me who know nothing about your work, or people in the know, who are at or above your level?

The same principle applies.

You have officially been reported to Denny and Sly for using the term "GEEK" and associating it with me! Nice knowing you FAMS!

I needed a pictoral representation of Thunder, so I used lightning and rain.

And the trails of fire represents a blazing trail.

I don't know if people noticed but....

Hendo is shooting 46% on threes on almost 2 a game. Limited minutes sure, but wow, that's way better than he has ever been his entire career.

DWD you better start that Orlando thread during the third quarter of the OKC game...... Cause I'm gonna beat you to it son!

Don't even respond to that guy DW. He can't carry your graphics card.

Yeah, I shouldn't have responded. I'm quite certain HCP was trolling me because the images were almost the literal interpretation of the team names, even KingSpeed wouldn't complain about them.

The HCP doesn't troll..... Just putting you on blast that if we don't start winning, he's taking the game thread back! He's 1-0 this season!

After this road trip, we'll have played 19 games on road and only 12 at home. If we go 2-3 on this trip, playoffs are almost a given. I still maintain we can win 48 games.

Yep. Major jump.

Hey guys, I can't find a stream for tonight's game, and KGW at 5 is on....and no Blazer game. What's going on? Is it going to be on at 7 on KGW? The OP said 5.

Thanks!

How are we doing tonight? Are we winning?

Maybe you should just get back into your time machine, journey back to Tuesday and wait until tomorrow with the rest of us.

LMAO! Oh wow, I am so dumb. I got dressed up in my Blazer gear before going out today, and even asked people if they were going to see the game tonight.

So dumb. :blink::dry::laugh::banghead:

Thank you everyone. Don't let my stupidity infect you, lol.

So if we go 2-3 you think we can go 35-16 the rest of the way?

Yes. I remember the Pacers were 16-23 at one point during the 1993-94 season. They pulled it together and went 31-12 the rest of the way and then made it to the ECF. I think our team can do the same. Our schedule has been incredibly difficult, we're still getting to know each other, and we're competiting in every game. I think we'll eventually click and run off some nice winning streaks. This also reminds me of the 2001-02 season when we started 13-18 but ended up finishing 49-33. So yes, I think we can go 37-19 the rest of the way with me winning $1200 along the way. Absolutely. Don't underestimate the talent we have on our team.

So out of the hundreds of times teams have started out like us over the years, there's a couple instances where they've ended up with 48 or so wins... Just saying

There are other instances. Remember the 0-13 Suns team that made the playoffs and nearly won in the first round?

Nope not really. I think we might get an 8 seed at around .500.. Don't see us winning that many though
