Would be nice if our offense could help hook get good looks instead of him having to shoot contested 3s or extremely contorting his body to try to get layups off against a collapsing defense.

Yup. What's crazy is, if they get the same shot quality, I think they still shoot better if they're moving the ball. The offense just has a better rhythm to it and the players seem more comfortable. Might just be me, I dunno.

It's like we have this super-athletic, good finisher wing but when we're missing 3s, we just jack up more and pray they go in instead of trying to utilize his skillset to get easier buckets.
