This game has a feeling of one of those games where we just won't get over the hump. We aren't shooting the lights out and playing well enough to overcome a decent opponent with refs on their side.

Reminds me of the time I saw them at Falls Festival on New Years Eve. They were supposed to count in the New Year, but got into it with the crowd, got beer bottles thrown at them, and walked off stage. They were eventually coaxed back on, only to deliberately miss the New Years count down, and after their final song say "By the way, it was New Years 5 minutes ago. Happy New Year fuckers!", and walk off.

Dont get me wrong. I like some of their stuff. Esp their first album. But it's amazing how places like Pitchfork try to rewrite history. THIS BAND WAS EPOCHAL. No they weren't. And don't try to revise history like they were. I was alive then and it was Dire Straits and Poodle Hair Rock. Though history may want to remember differently.
