• Saturday marks the second of three regular season matchups between the Trail Blazers and Suns in 2015-16. Tonight’s contest is the only one scheduled between these two teams at the Moda Center.

• In the first game between Portland and Phoenix (played last night), the Suns defeated the Trail Blazers 110-92 behind a 15-point, 13-rebound performance from center Tyson Chandler.

• In that game, Phoenix made 32 free throws (of 42) on 33 Portland fouls, while the Trail Blazers shot 19 free throws (made 15) on just 17 Phoenix fouls.

• Al-Farouq Aminu’s 16-point performance tied his highest career scoring output in 19 career games against the Suns (previously recorded two other times).

• Portland is 10-2 in its past 12 regular season games played at home against the Suns dating back to the 2008-09 season.

• After dropping its first game against the Suns in 2014-15, Portland won the final three contests to take the season series (3-1).

• 2014-15 marked Portland’s first series victory over Phoenix in the past four years. The Suns took the season series from Portland each season from 2011-12 to 2013-14.

• Last night’s loss dropped Portland to 1-8 in its past nine regular season games played in Phoenix dating back to the 2010-11 season. Portland’s lone win during that time came on March 27, 2015 (W, 87-81).

• The Suns have now won the first contest played between these two teams in each of the past five seasons. All five of those games were played in Phoenix.

• Damian Lillard has averaged 19.6 points on 40.2% shooting from the field in 12 career games against the Suns. Lillard has made at least two three-pointers in 10 of those 12 contests.

• Al-Farouq Aminu and Phoenix guard Eric Bledsoe were teammates on the Clippers in 2010-11.
