Turnovers and missed FTs killed us. We just gotta keep this within single digits and see if dame can will us to a win again.

but any action at all with enes is resulting in points for them. booker might cool down, but we need to body him more. i like how Jones is guarding CP.
 
So many passes boogie would make that kanter doesn’t even attempt.
 
I do hope we Play the Suns in the playoffs though. It would be a fun series!
 
Trent can’t even drive to the basket to get some fouls and FT’s.
 
It's that chicken or egg thing. Did Melo go iso every time first and so players began slacking off once he got the ball or did they stop moving and deferring to him first so he had nobody to pass to?

Other point: I saw we were last n the league at defending corner threes. Continues tonight. Could we set a record for most opponent's corner threes made in a season?

The Suns are just like the Blazers but a little better in every respect.

What they don't do is play as stupid as we did in the first half. So many wasted possessions.

Melo with the most selfish play I've seen in years ... he had three open guys who can make the 3 standing around the arc with an easy pass. No, he holds it, lets the Suns set the defense and then dribbles out the shot clock backing a guy down and shooting a fadeaway over his defender and the two guys helping on defense that ends up short.

But that was just the worst of the worst. We had the obligatory two Blazers knock an uncontested rebound away from each other because no one talks and it results in a Suns basket. We had Dame trying to dribble through four guys and losing it. We have Trent with an easy elbow jumper to get himself in rhythm instead firing up a step-back that he missed. Then we have Ant running the "Me" play, not even looking for teammates as he fired up a 3 off the dribble early in the shot clock, then almost immediately commits a bad foul the other way.

Watch them lose this game by 2-6 points and the end of the game will get overanalyzed when the Blazers wasted about a dozen or more first-half possessions just playing stupid basketball, lazy basketball, or stupid lazy basketball.

Surprised Phoenix gave up 4 shots in 4 straight possessions from the exact same spot.

Yup... you never get those possessions back and they might be the deciders.
