While not on the "Fire Stotts" train, I do think sometimes offensive philosophy has passed him by.

Watching whoever dribble the ball up and shoot is like 1980s offense. Even the teams with stars like the Clippers and Lakers are so much more unselfish with the basketball than are the Blazers. It's frustrating because we've seen quarters where we do share the basketball and when we do we look like a very good team (well, minus all the offensive rebounds we allow).

Watching the way the Clippers and Lakers played yesterday made me sick out of jealousy.

I'm with you, a wide open shot at the elbow is fine, but you've got to make it at a high percentage.
