How many NBA games did you watch on Christmas yesterday?

It's probably the same number of times he's swatted at air.

He has an issue with going out on 3s. He kind of makes himself smaller than raises his hands to defend the shot because he's worried if he goes all out on the shooter he would foul him

I missed the game, and then forgot about it. I see there's a game thread and think, oh yeah, there was a game, gee, I wonder whether we beat LeBron ha ha. So I click on my box score and see some kind of misprint in the W and the L..

I will now investigate this error and report back. I might even honor all of you and read excerpts of this thread. Those of you who watched will no doubt want the final scoop from my invaluable analysis.

CJ ran that point spot pretty well, i really liked his chemistry with Plumlee there, just 2 guys having fun balling.
Maybe Damien should be the SG for a little while, it will take some pressure off him.

Crabbe is going to get PAID when his contract runs out, i wonder what will happen when clown teams will offer him 12mil'\year+a starting role

I was blown away by the Blazers last night....again the media after the game talked about how the Cavs lost and not how we won...typical..got to watch the last 3 qtrs and guess what....Meyers is back! Crabbe was a beast...Plumlee is looking better and better. Loved seeing Kaman at garbage time hit back to back mid range jumpers....who needs what's his name...and get a block in 3 plays. Vonleh looked really good on defense. Aminu did an incredible job shutting down Lebron..if we can play this way without Dame...it's a sign of good things to come...was my favorite Xmas gift beating the Cavs! Go Blazers!

The game was determined in the 34-12 1st quarter, which was divided into thirds by 2 timeouts. So I made box scores for each third of the 1st quarter, and figured each player's effectiveness points per minute, using the NBA.com formula. I won't bother you with all the numbers.

Plumlee was the best player of the quarter because he remained consistently high in all 3 thirds. Crabbe was 2nd overall, dipping in the middle third before having a great 3rd third of the 1st quarter. 3rd best was Aminu, with a great middle third while also guarding James, I assume. 4th was McCollum, who diminished in each third after a great start. The best Cavs were Thompson and Varejao.

I think that LeBron's mind turns to sludge sometimes. Not the killer that Michael Jordan was, but probably more likeable.

Last year I said, I wish we could see this team without Aldridge. This year, I'm glad we can see this team without Lillard.

On some teams, the best player is a locomotive who makes them win. But the best Blazer always seem to be a diversion/decoy, to attract opponents' attention so that teammates can shoot after he misses. But his teammates are held back by deferring to him.

Just stop.

Now if only McCollum would disappear, this would get entertaining!

Bring back Juwan Howard!

I missed the game thread last night but I can' t believe we blow out the number one team in the east and you slackers don't have a dance party!

Just read that we are the only team this season to play a half with NO turnovers and forced Lebron to a season low in points and the Cavs to a season low in total score...frickin' awesome!

According to ESPN, the 29 point lead at the half was the most that any team has ever outscored a LeBron James-led team in a half in his career.

Sometimes it good have your best player sit out. It gives everyone to get his touches and see what they can do in this case it looks like Crabbe. Plus it give dame more confident in his player when he comes back.

I missed seeing the game. Notice that no one has ever seen us together at the same time?

Crabbe reminds me of Rip Hamilton with the way he gets his looks by moving off the ball.

I've been having the exact same thought throughout the last month, but i thought it will be a bit blasphemous to say it at this early stage.
