A perfect ending to a perfect day! Gotta appreciate those when they come around!

KD played 41 mins tonight after playing 43 yesterday, then flying cross country. What is Nash doing....

Ants passing since playing full time PG has been impressive….

I dunno about his fit next to Dame though long term.

I think staggering them will work better than when we tried it with Dame/CJ. Chauncey has clearly shown Ant is young enough that he can mold him. CJ had Terry to mold him, don’t think Chauncey can get much out of a vet.

Ant played with a depleted Blazers today.

Ant can play next to Dame, even if it’s not as a full time starter. Just gotta dump the two shitty defenders in Powell and CJ so they have proper cover

Guys, so KD lost a game against a team of scrubs. Dude really need more help.

I dissed Simons yesterday but I was wrong. He needs his own team. Trade Dame or send Simons to the Celtics.

So when does mclemore become an actual trade asset? Or do we just try and keep him with the MLE if he keeps this up? We could be down a couple guards next year wink wink

Blazers Uprise Postgame Show
Blazers 114, Nets 108
The Blazers defeat the Nets behind some solid defense and several players contributing with big games. Come talk about the fun victory tonight!

Didn’t get to watch much of the game was more focused on the national championship game. But I’m thinking Simons is making Lillard a little more expendable. Imagine we add to our young core with a guy like Simmons or Tatum and then unload some of these vets.

The future might be bright.

I don't think there are any complaints about the refs tonight, are there?

I really hope Chauncey convinces Dame to play more shooting guard next year. Continue to develop Anfernee’s playmaking. Even if all else fails and Dame requests a trade, you have a legit PG for the future. Although I find it hard to believe at this point that there won’t be enough assets to field a team around him.

Looks to me like we have a coach who can get guys to play and find a variety of ways to win. At the same time, we're showing we have options in our trading chips.

Another win?!?

Mclemore played pretty well for the Lakers last year at the end of the season. A lot of their fans were bummed he did not come back.
He is a good option to have on your bench.

Yeh, that was a tough stretch for a rookie coach to go through and he held himself and the team together mentally.

we’re seeing more of Billups’ ability to coach in game without Dame and CJ and he’s passing the test. He also deserves some credit for Simons development, especially as a playmaker. Mclemore is also playing better than I’ve ever seen him, and I’ve been a fan of his since college and wanted him here for years.

Hahaha

And also getting a better idea of the worth of different players; I think it's good Cronin hasn't rushed into a trade.

Really liked how Billups coached the offense near the end. Something different from what we're used to seeing in years past.

A good piece to throw in to a team trying to compete.
