Wow... I have been very critical of Nurk lately but he played like a man tonight... completely shut down Embiid. Nurk is on another level when he plays with the passion he had tonight... Embiid couldn’t even get a shot off in the post... all his points came off wide open 3’s... I just got to keep reminding myself Nurk is only 23. He has top defensive center upside

They fought inside and made the extra pass down low when Philly expected them to push it outside. And they got physical under the basket more than I have ever seen them this year. Aminu had over 10 rebounds alone. Finishing at the rim for tough baskets made all the difference.

Also, for everyone hating on Neil, is there a GM better at getting something for nothing? Shabazz and Nurk are legit NBA talents... i still think this team has as much talent as any in league, just that the pieces don’t quite fit... hopefully Neil can see this and package CJ for high level small forward to balance roster. Shabazz can do what CJ does, but at a cheaper cost and with better defense

I Really like the idea of Trading CJ to Balance the roster and Keep Napier on a Cheap Contract. Napier can do all the things that CJ can do, and he is a better playmaker, Defender and Passer. But we would still have the problem of being undersized at the Guard positions

ET and CJ were on the bench for almost the entire comeback. Ball movement increased, actual good passing increase....it was a pleasant surprise.

(When CJ did come back in, he went 1-4 the rest of the quarter making sure he got his shots and passing to no one.)
