In your opinion, who's the biggest ball hog on the Blazers?

Such a great point. I thought Baze might be able to do some of what Aminu/Harkless did by switching on the opponents elite offensive players, but he doesn't have the length and fouls so dang much. Though his fouling has got slightly under control lately.
Baze gambles a LOT. Hes not terrible, but he's not 'above average' either

I believe about $12 million. Should be just over the MLE amount.

It's not what I think they SHOULD do or what I want them to do.... I just think that's what NO will do.

I really really hope you're wrong, but you very well might be right.

I'm so glad I have your ass on ignore. Every. Single. Time I take you off of ignore, I get to see what you posted; and it's always more negative bullshit. I vented once in this thread. You do your negative vents with EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. POST.

TTYL, Nancy.....
Hahahaha

With Hood out and no back up PG on the roster, we have no choice but to play Simons and Trent.
I don't mind that at all. Trent is rounding into a serviceable player and 1M is coming along. They both seem to be getting better defensively also.

Certainly not after 5-7 minutes. Melo is not playing well after his first shift and is being left on the court too long during his shifts.

How can anyone say Melo's not as good as Saric, though? That's the assertion.

Saric had 2 points, 2 rebounds, 0 assists in 16 minutes, was 1-for-5 shooting and was a minus-12 on a team that won by six last night. Melo's recent play has been disheartening, but he's still better than Saric and by a considerable margin. The Blazers' roster is better than the Suns and by a considerable margin. The Blazers are losing to teams they are better than, often much better than.

First off. You actually put people on "Ignore"?
Secondly. You actually take people back off "Ignore"?
I wonder how to put people on ignore? I learned once i think but it didn't take.

Saric is 25, he's bigger than Melo, he shoots a better FG % and FT %, and he rebounds better. There is no question he is a better player at this particular time.

Melo is who we thought he was. A 35 year old has been.
Can't disagree but he does bring a type of game they can use for short periods. He played 37 mins last night. Who in their right mind expected to have to rely on Carmelo Anthony for 37 mins a game? This is the part of the Melo is better than Saric or even a borderline all star or what have you that i don't get. This guy is an All Star from a decade ago. He can play well. Just like i can go on the iron and connect as well as anyone. But i can't do it all day. Day in and Day out. Every day, Every Week any longer. I don't even want to. I'm pretty sure this is not what he signed up for either. Melo needed to come off the bench and play back up minutes and be a solid contributor for the second unit. Then play in crucial situations on certain end game plays.
Unfortunately that is not the case with 9 players suited up that can play. The same goes for Tolliver.

Perhaps you forgot who are coach was? :bgrin:

Leonard
Collins
Swanigan

So very solid

If those were his only 3 draft picks I would be right next to you banging that drum because in general, I'd like to see him gone. It wouldn't be fair to excluded a couple drafts where he landed great value based off drafting position.

He's done just enough to keep us irrelevant.

I usually evaluate draft picks based on what was available after the pick and in the case of Leonard, there just isn't anything that stands out that says it was an obvious mistake as there are less than a handful of players that turned out better and when it comes to the second round players, pretty much every team wiffed on them once and in the case of Swanigan, Olshey was able to flip him for Skal in a very short time.

I don't know if I'm interpreting it correctly, but is that a shot against his teammates?

I'm sure that has more to do with having to play without the injured players. Lillard would never dis his teammates. The team never makes excuses about injuries and has always taken the next man up mentality.
Yeah you probably right
