• Thursday marks the second of four matchups between the Trail Blazers and
Jazz in 2015-16.

• Portland picked up a road victory in its first meeting with Utah this season, defeating the Jazz, 108-92, on Nov. 4.

• In that game, Damian Lillard scored a season-high 35 points on 14-of-27 shooting (5-11 3-PT).

• Portland has won four of its past five away games against the Jazz, after going just 3-15 in Utah dating back to 2004-05.

• The Trail Blazers have won seven of their past nine games against the Jazz since the start of the 2013-14 season.

• Damian Lillard (35 points) and CJ McCollum (27 points) combined for 62 points on 60.0% shooting from the field (8-16 3-PT) in Portland’s first game against Utah (11/4). The duo outscored Utah’s starting backcourt (Neto/Hood) 62-16.

Staying in with the wife and watching some Blazers basketball!

IIRC, Dame and CJ combined to outscore their Utah counterparts in the backcourt, 62-16 in a Blazer win in Salt Lake City earlier this season. I hope Dame continues to rest, but CJ and Crabbe will do their best to replicate that backcourt domination on New Year's Eve.

Forgot it's New Years Eve tomorrow night.

I hope Mason Plumlee leaves his shadow all over Jeff Withey. I'm voting for a Plumlee spectacular event :beatinto:

This game will push us into the 8 th spot. Oh how the terrible have awakened.

2 years ago, Dallas was the #8 seed in the West with 49 wins. Currently, Utah is on pace to get the #8 seed with.....35.5 wins. That is disgusting for all the reasons I railed against the East for years for getting in teams that didn't deserve it. Just because a lot of the Conference is crappy doesn't mean a team like Utah or Portland should qualify as a Playoff team. That is exactly what puts a team in purgatory and keeps them down for a long time. So a team that really should be in the Lottery, makes the playoffs, gets crushed and then gets no help.

If Portland is going to make a playoff run, at least have it be a respectable one. I'm all for qualifying for something that is worthy....not just clearing a low bar.

If it does not hurt Dame's recovery, he needs to play. I have a bad feeling about this one. We will need Dame tonight.

The holding Dame out of games tank strategy is backfiring. Maybe he should play? :evilfire:

CC How about a Vonleh Plumlee new years day parade tomorrow morning?

Let's make the last game of 2015 a good one!

Just hanging out, hanging out, hanging out....
Hanging out with your family, have yourself a parTAAAY

Dame's abysmal 4th quarter shooting has been killing the team. Maybe he will WTF up now.

Wow, that guy that just checked in for the Jazz looks like he could be Lebron James brother.

GO BLAZERS!!!

GO JINGLES!!!

Meyers only does fast/hard passes. A little touch on that pass would have been nice.
