Not sure what Quick did that was so untrustworthy? No writer (or player for that matter) is always right.

Quick said that everything should be on the table for deals, including Lillard. There's absolutely nothing wrong with saying that. The Blazers should be considering trading Lillard at this point. The team is a fucking mess and completely unwatchable, and if they decide to blow it up/tank like so many fans are begging for, there is zero reason to keep $50 mil per year, 31 year old Damian Lillard in Portland. And that's assuming he would even want to be here under those circumstances. If the team is hitting the reboot button, being loyal to Dame may actually mean trading Dame. And i get why Dame is offended by that, he gave everything for the Franchise, but he also has to face reality.

If that is what Quick said, and someone is upset with that, then they are detached from reality. I get a lot of people are offended by almost everything, but Portland has been mediocre at best for the large portion of the last 10 years. It is the reality of the business that you try to do better and that means anyone can be moved.

I can't recall exactly, but I think it was Quick who said some stuff about Dame wanting that super-max extension and using the desire as leverage. Dame came out right away and shot that down

but like I said, maybe that was somebody else

Wasn't that Woj via Neil?

Trade Dame for what though?

It is hard to identify an all-NBA talent. It's incredibly hard to be in a position to obtain an all-NBA talent (in Portland). It's near impossible to get an all-NBA talent to stay in Portland into his prime. What trade for Dame (that is realistic) could we get that puts us in a better position? Quick knows that answer: There is none.

Olshey had two local guys in his pocket: Jaynes & Quick. They were the loudest on the "coaching is a major problem" drum and then attempted to act like this years team would be so much better with new leadership. That clearly failed, so they've got to turn on someone.

Clean the litter box or watch this train wreck?

:smiley-bagonhead:

Both. Drop the kitty roca off at Sly's and enjoy the game.

Ben Simmons is the most possible.

This is a decade worth accumulation of bullshit and he's just had enough.

Everyone want fair value if we dealt Dame but hate tell you hardly ever get true value trading a star player so what need is quality value for your star player. But I don't think Dame is on any trading block though.

Well looks like going be long night and seems like they already lost before it even before the start.

I can't watch this. Already so bad. Just completely out-sized. Why Neil thought two slow lumbering guys over 6'10 would be enough size to compete is beyond me.

Wow. Anfernee is back to being the worst defensive player in the league.

last 4 possessions have all targeted him.
