A Bill Walton(during the Championship) esqe dominant game. Dude gets better and better. Gutty win with Dame sick, and a cold shooting qtr. They didn't give up. Cauley-Stein is no stiff either, but Nurk showed what he's capable of.

To often every bench player has a negative +/-. I realize that stat isn't great and has flaws. Stotts has really gotta stop playing the entire bench together for long stretches it DOESN'T work.
Anyways crazy game, Dame played so well at to end that game. The defense to end the 4th and in OT was about as good as those guys have ever played defense as a group. Nice to start the new year with a win.

Nurk's defense is amazing. He has great anticipation on the defensive end. He's young too (that's for all the meatheads who keep wanting to trade him and Dame away).

Y'all can thank me. I missed most of the first 3 quarters. When I started watching, Blazers were up 8. They quickly lost the lead and got down by 7. I said to myself, "time to stop watching, remove the damn jinx, they will come back." And they did!! I watched OT through. Couldn't resist that.

Damn straight! It's Stauskas who can't figure it out. Curry lookin' like he did in Dallas. And that is what Olshey was banking on. I think he will keep it up to. Blazers need to set screens for him cause he's lethal off them.

Damn straight. Living in Denver my buddy(Nuggets Freak) and me could see the talent in Nurk. Malone couldn't , but thank goodness Neil read my post Jonesing for Nurk, and got him. I know, NOT! But who cares. I wanted him here because of the potential. He's not done developing either.

Nurk is fucking legit.

The B-Ball Breakdown guy on you tube did a video about the post-up and said it will never become obsolete precisely because a pass out of the post-up yields the best 3 point shot in the NBA because the shooter is facing the basket. Along with everything else Nurk does well, he sees the floor and is an excellent passer. Like that pass to Aminu in OT.
