• Wednesday marks the third of four matchups between the Trail Blazers and Clippers in 2015-16.

• Portland and Los Angeles have split the season series (1-1) thus far, with each team winning its respective home game.

• The Trail Blazers are 12-6 against the Clippers at the Moda Center since the start of the 2006-07 season (1-0 this season). Los Angeles won both of its games at Portland in 2014-15.

• In the most recent game between these two teams, the Clippers defeated the Trail Blazers, 102-87, on Nov. 30 at the Staples Center. In that game, DeAndre Jordan had 18 points (12-34 FT) and 24 rebounds.

• CJ McCollum had 12 points and a career-high 10 assists at the Clippers on Nov. 30 for his first career double-double.

• The last time these two teams met at the Moda Center on Nov. 20, Damian Lillard scored a game-high 27 points on 10-of-25 shooting (4-10 3-PT).

• The Clippers, who won three of four games against the Trail Blazers in 2014-15, have won the season series in three of the past four years.

• In two games against the Clippers this season, Mason Plumlee has averaged 14.0 points (60% FG) and 11.5 rebounds Plumlee has recorded a double-double in both games.

• Portland is fifth in the NBA in rebounding with 45.76 rebounds per game, while the Clippers are averaging 42.4 boards per contest (24th in NBA).

• Trail Blazers President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey served as the Clippers’ Vice President of Basketball Operations for two seasons from 2010-12. The Clippers reached the NBA Playoffs under Olshey’s guidance in 2011-12, marking the team’s first postseason appearance since 2005-06.

• Portland forward Al-Farouq Aminu was drafted eighth overall by Los Angeles in the 2010 NBA Draft and averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in his lone season with the Clippers.

New Logo While the organization is at it change clippers to destroyers. Nineteenth century sailing vessels have no place in the NBA. I never liked the logo, the team, the prior owner and their smelly relationship with the Lakers.

At Home!! Better WIN . Good guess- Blazers 106 Barbers or sailors 103

Interesting matchup to say the least. The Blazers simply do not do well against dominating centers and teams that have a lot of experience and the Clippers have both. Doesn't really seem to matter that Griffin has been out for more than a week because they are deep and they still have CP3. Like them or loathe them you have to admit they have players that can step up at any time.
The Blazers have to watch for a couple things tonight. Typically the Clippers come out and try to cry and bemoan their way through a game all the while playing physical if not even a bit "Dirty". They will knock and grab their way into the Blazers heads and eventually laugh their way to the free throw line. All except of course Deandre Jordan who never really laughs about a FT. I will call it right now....Meyers Leonard will get accosted at some point and will do his "What the heck was that" imitation. At some point Meyers needs to put somebody on their Ass and put an end to that crap. Sorry but he just can't tip toe his way through games and not become the target of some veteran that knows they can get into his head. I don't really care if he gets thrown out and even suspended for a game or two. Take someone with you and let the entire league know that shit needs to stop! Just my take on it.

Lillard struggled mightily last game but it was pretty much to be expected. There is another site that shall remain nameless where the clowns actually are talking about the team being worse off with Dame on the court. Fucking clowns don't even know basketball when they get rolled up and dribbled down the court. I don't look to see him score big tonight either. He seems to work hard on nights against Chris Paul. The good news is he is there are he seemed to take enough time off that he actually healed up. Lets hope it stays that way. There was absolutely no reason to rush him back and the Blazers will be better in the long run for letting him rest.

Reddick vs CJ is the matchup i am going to be watching close tonight. That and the times when they rotate Crabbe in and out. Doesn't seem to matter what people know about CJ. He finds ways to put the ball into the hoop. With Lillard on the court he should get back to having more looks from the perimeter. they also don't really want to challenge Jordan too much at the rim but my bet is the drive and dish will work tonight because there is no Griffin to help out. Allen Crabbe has earned the right to get a rhythm going each and every game so if he is hitting i hope they make the Clippers adjust to him.

Pick tonight is Aminu. If there is one place the Clippers don't seem to have any advantage it is at SF. Pierce is always a wily vet but the combination of him and sliding Luc Mbah over at times does not seem to favor the Clips. Plumlee could also benefit from working against this duo. Blazers will go small at times for sure but Plums just works hard all the time and that always brings positive energy.

As always Go Blazers!
Kjironman is a fan!!!

The new logo is the worst in the league - unbelievable that they've taken that distinction away from OKC. It looks like a generic "NBA Cares" type logo that would be plastered all over crap given away in swag bags during All Star weekend. I'm struggling to come up with another corporate logo that fails harder than LAC's.

CP usually eats Dame for lunch, but finally this season, Dame had some success in that first game. Hope he goes off again. The FG% drop has left a bad taste.

Hell yea it has

With CJ's recent stint running the point, I wonder if we finally have an answer to the Clippers trapping Dame?

It looks like the logo and font from a training camp practice shirt. Like the kind that players would wear for practice before a summer league game.

Precisely. You'd think LA would be drowning in graphic design talent, and THIS was the best the Clippers could do?

Over or under Dame shoots 43% tonight? I'm going with the under..

I look so forward to games, I can't wait for tonight and game doesn't start til 10pm!!

Meyers is gonna drop 20 tonight I'm sure of it

So I just played this game on NBA2K16. I should first note that apparently the Clippers traded DeAndre Jordan for Brook Lopez. Anyway, we won 159-134. Here is some of the boxscore:

Meyers Leonard: 47 points 5 rebounds 2 steals 1 block in 21 minutes
Lillard 27 points 13 assists
Vonleh 13 points 9 rebounds
Henderson 11 points
Crabbe 10 points
CJ 9 points 9 assists
Aminu 9/6/4
Pat 9/7
Ed 8/8 and 2 blocks
Cliff 7/6 and 2 blocks
Montero 4 points
Frazier 3/2/6
Plumlee 2 points 12 rebounds 4 assists 1 steal 2 blocks

Pierce led the Clippers with 23 points.
