Different levels of athleticism, generally different games, different backgrounds.....

BUT....

I see a lot of LA in Meyer. Leonard is still growing into that body. He was a guard for much of high school. I see Meyers getting more and more comfortable playing his game on offense and being more aggressive on the boards and on D. LA eventually became confident with his offense, grew to become an inside player, and grew to be more aggressive on D and on the boards.

I don't expect Meyers to ever reach LA's level, but he's starting to show a similar development pattern. It's hard to hate what we're starting to see from Meyers.

I think were at about 50 bad calls for us none for the clips.
 
If Batum ever heals fully and gets his shot back this team will dominate.
 
FWIW, the Clippers announcer loves how well the Clips have played, but feels great trepidation with such a small lead going into the half. Says that Blazer fans should be loving where this game is at right now, considering we've gotten nothing from our guards so far.
 
The obvious issue with Batum is his wrist. He better rest this summer, cause he's fucking up the offense with his crappy shooting.

Also, Meyers needs to start. BEAST
 
if batum didn't single handedly fuck up 3 possessions in a row we would be ahead by 10.
 
I feel like we took their best crawful Haymaker and now they will be introduced to lillard time. Holy type lag bat man.

LA hacked on the layup no call 2 points
phantom call on Meyers at end of quarter 4 points
bogus jump ball call 5 point
bullshit foul on lillard going over the moving jordan pic 7 points
Not giving Damian continuation 9 points
 
Lillard looked a little pissed going into the locker room. Watch out LA: a pissed off Lillard is bad for your health.

Yep... I actually like when we are down in the first half. I think it motivates us. Once Lillard makes that adjustment to break through that trap, clips are in some serious trouble

batum clearly got fouled on his two shots that were airball.
