Totally sleep walking thru this entire period

We need to score on this PP to start the 3rd. 4 on 3 is a huge edge. MUST SCORE.
 
Ok that was a good save by Mason for a change

Got a min of 4 on 3 at least....gotta score to start the 3rd
 
Why did the whistle blow? How the hell can the referee lose sight of the puck on something like that?
 
Huge start to the 3rd. 1:45 on the PP. 1:12 of 4 on 3. Just huge. Could decide the game. Need to shoot.

Overall I truly think we have controlled the game. The 2nd was closer, but I would say edge us. Issue no no one in front of Mason. No rebounds. And the PP has been a huge fail.
 
I think it is Dis. Quite honestly we have out played them clearly. We really have controlled 80% of this series, yet we could be 2-2. It is what we do...LOL.

And while Mason clearly has played well, 98% of his saves were one shot and done, no one in front of him at all.

I'd disagree with your analysis of the second. Flyers def controlled the play. They had the puck in our zone A LOT and actually possessed the puck. We get into the zone, get one shot on net and Mason either freezes it or the Flyers get it outta the zone. We just look sloppy, lifeless, and look like we're playing without urgency, as if in their heads they still think that all they have to do if they lose this one is win two of the next three instead of winning this one and then worrying about the next game.
 
We'll agree to disagree. I think we totally controlled the 1st. And the 2nd was a pretty even period. Overall the game has been more in our control than their control I think. Shots were 12-11 us in the 2nd.

At this point it would be impossible for anyone to contend that we don't have a major issue winning games that can put us in a great position. We cannot win games with a lead in series'. It has happened way too often now to not be a clear issue.

We cannot win two straight when we get the lead. And we cannot win with the lead ever.

Frustrating. And at some point will burn us big time. If we lose tonight, Sunday becomes a must win IMO.

The flyers are down one defenseman, been outplayed for the most part. All it takes is one goal to tie this up and the flyers will get nervous.
 
Need to come out in the third, actually have a gameplan for the PP, shoot the damn puck when we have a shooting lane, and get back to using the stretch passes. I can't recall us using a stretch pass once in the second. Would also be nice to win an offensive faceoff as well.
 
Agreed. This PP to start is huge. I won't say flat out will decide the game, but if we score I feel like we'd have a great chance to win this one. If we don't then they get some mo and we have to hope we can slip one in. Plus they are going to get another PP at some point.

Chuck, we can't use shots to determine who controlled play when so many of our shots have been one and done and outta the zone and Flyers have actually worked the cycle in our zone. That's my concern. They actually got their forecheck going and controlled the puck in our zone whereas we struggled to do more than get just one shot at a time. Anyways...LETS GO RANGERS!!! SCORE HERE!!!!
 
WE AGREE TO DISAGREE 28. Let's move on. I see worst case an even 2nd. You think they clearly out played us. We disagree. It's okay.
 
I love watching this team play catch with the puck on a 4 on 3 for 50 sec
 
You'd think with almost 30 shots they'd have a lot on the PP but nope. We're scared to shoot. I give up with this team on the PP. It's been like 10 years since we've been competent on the PP.
 
Guys are just looking around at each other not trying to get the puck. Just standing around looking. Flyers are gonna score again soon if we don't wake up.

4 Flyers below the goal line for the puck, 2 Rangers. No urgency to get the puck or win a battle. They're done in this game. They're already looking ahead to Sunday.
 
This game has been too easy for Philly to play. Not a lot hard about our game tonight. This is the frame it game for why we cannot win with a lead in the playoffs. This team does not play with close to the same level of passion when they have a little cushion. Sad but true.

Exactly. Why we never take a 2 game lead, games like this. This is the perfect example game of why we cannot do it. Really is a joke.

Until we can do that we cannot truly be a winner.
 
No more 4th line. Just play top three from here out til you score. Can't have a line out there that can't score
