It's funny how it was just like I said. Just takes one in OT to erase a bad 60 minutes. Especially for St. Louis who had a very rough regulation.
 
Just sick and tired of the Montreal bitching and whining. Put them to bed in their own building.
 
Bucked the trend of playoff OTs against Montreal and road teams being 8-0 in overtime this playoff year.
 
And the greatest guaranteer of all time chuck comes thru with another and even more amazing an ot win over the whiny canadians

He was back out on the bench so you have to figure it couldn't of been all that bad.
 
You have to be very happy Callahan worked his way out of New York. You have to believe that without St. Louis this playoff run wouldn't be taking place.
 
Said this deal was a home run from the get go as st.louis light years ahead of cally as a player. And when you add the salary part in was a no brainer. Could care less about the 2 first round picks for that deal.
 
What an amazing game. Best game I have ever been to at MSG. Crowd was on fire early. Even before the anthem. Loudest of my 3 playoff games this PS by far. You can clearly tell they knew what had gone on the past few days and that motivated us even more.

Hags was amazing, I think he was our best player last night. His speed was burning them all night.
Great to see Brassard come back with a goal.
MSL was due to score. That line was very good last night, and MSL had so many chances the past few games, he was due to put one in.
Hank was Hank. Not much to say here.
I thought Staal had a bad game, and Stralman wasn't much better.

The crowd was nervous for sure into OT. Combo of game 3 OT loss, our history against the Habs in OT, and our history in playoff OT. Add in the winner of that OT was going to have the inside track on the series, and you have a nervous crowd. BUT at the start of OT the crowd wents nuts to welcome the Rangers back to the ice. It was a great show of emotion.

I was on edge through the OT, but when MSL scored I flipped out. The whole crowd flipped out. Building was on fire. No one left for 10 minutes after the game. Just cheering and screaming. Marty's name. We want the cup. Just great stuff. Same on our way out. Fans were still going crazy. And when we finally got outside it was an awesome scene. TONS of blue just chanting and living it up. Simply an amazing scene and a great time. Ranger fans let their voices be heard last night. What an awesome night. Crazy fun. I would do that over and over again.
