So ive always been confused by this. So youre taking the bucks to win (smart) but to win the -6 they need to beat the blazers by MORE than 6? And if we only lose by 4 you don't?

I always hear "I'll take the bucks but not the points" so you can do one or the other... Ive always been confused by sport gambling numbers.

You nailed it perfectly. For me to win, the Bucks have to win by more than 6. If they win by 6, I get my money back, but win nothing. If the Bucks win by 5 or less, or the Blazers win, I lose my money.

If you wanted to take the Bucks to win straight up you'd have to risk $33.50 to win $10

Okay that makes sense. So could someone say "hey i wanna take blazers +5" or is it only along certain lines? I know lines fluctuate during the week (especially football)..
 
Hassan has really gaudy stats yet he is never mentioned as even a candidate for DPOY or an All Star appearance. It’s weird.
 
The reason I’m watching tonight is because if we win, it’s easily our best win of the year and I would hate to miss that.

I always watch especially the young players. But I like to see who really wants to battle those the guys I want on this team in future.

Yeah, some places offer alternative lines. In your exmple, if you wanted Portland +5 (one less point than the set line) you would have to "buy" the point. In that case, to get Portland +5 you'd probably have to be $12 to win $10 vs $11 to win $10 if you took them at +6.
 
Well the floor spacing is better with 5 shooters on the floor, not sure if much else is better.

Tolliver? In reality, Whiteside is Nurks backup, then Collins would have probably been the back up back up, then Gasol, then Skal. So Tolliver is probably our 6th string center.
