Really? I've seen him do maybe one block in the past 5 games.
in his last two games he's got 3 blocks and 2 steals. However good defense is more than just getting steals and blocks, it's being in the right position, and sliding your feet and he is good at those things. It's a little awkward with him and Meyers both playing one of them has to guard the perimeter and neither are really good at it, but Zach is very good on defense. I would definitely agree his offense needs work, and getting some bulk will help him to get and keep rebounding position.

Is that what he has? Huh.....doesn't seem like it.

I will say he's a better Center than a PF. But it sure seems like he's a step or two slow when defending the paint.

I’m not watching but can Nurk get his first triple double?

That Nic Batum/CJ all time 3pt stat has me feeling nostalgic, so here’s a pic of Nic, Patty, Wes, Rudy.

We're learning that against no defense, Turner and Stauskas are good shooters.

The fouls are his biggest weakness on defense, he's got a tendency to reach especially when he's on the perimeter, but he's just not a good perimeter defender at this point anyway. He belongs around the basket on defense.

For as good of a shooter as Trent is supposed to be, most of his shots aren't close. Rare minutes of course....

WHo should be in instead of him? ET? I would Say Jake needs a lot more playing time then any of the starters or ET.
IF baldwin was here instead of in the g-league it would be him. I didn't say Layman shouldn't be playing just that it's weird how he starts and still plays in garbage time.

Finally....Trent hits a shot. Maybe that will unlock the rim for him.

The one thing I'm proudest of about this team is we actually have a culture. We develop good players. The rest of the NBA portrays us as a bunch of the suburban equivalent of Dogpatch. But we grow decent teams in a place that isn't supposed too.
