Which option would be better for the Blazers?

IDEA: Let Layman (6 inches taller than CJ and a better defender) guard their best offensive player in Hield instead of C.J. guard their "SF" who's essentially a mid-sized SG in Iman Shumpert (6'5) who isn't anywhere near as much of a threat.

Coaching.

Silly @BonesJones ....that would require an in-game adjustment. :biglaugh: We know how good Stotts is at those.

If only Terry would after his main guys like that.

I like emptying out a side of the floor for Dame. Good job Stotts!

Oh wait, Dame just did his own thing instead of running a Horns set that was called for the 30th time tonight.

The normally mild-mannered Jake Layman is showing more fire than the rest of the team. Needs to play Dame minutes this half....

He won't though.

I think Layman is exactly the wing we are looking for.

Wasn't Neil claiming him as a PF in the future?

WHEN IN THE NAME OF BILL SCHONLEY will the Blazers figure out to get the ball to Jake more often!!!!!
Imagine if he was freed up to shoot and attack without having to worry about being taken out of the game if he misses?

If I see CJ shoot one more goddamn shot and brick it, I'm going to slap a homeless man.

I think we're really good in transition. Maybe we should try running in transition more?

Just an idea. Then again, I'm not an NBA coach.

If Nurk would just get his head out of his ass and Dame and CJ cut down on the amount of cutters, we'd be on top!

Oh look, Layman cutting through opened up the floor for a Dame drive!!! Wow! I've never said anything like that before!

Yay, we let Fox get the 4 foot finger-roll off the screen that we want him to shoot. We gotta sag 5 feet under a screen even if it's 5 feet away from the hoop!!!!

You could use him as a curling threat to free up better looks for the rest of the offense too.

That is the 2nd adjustment you've suggested tonight. What lettuce are you smoking to think any of those suggestions have a snowballs chance in hell? :bgrin:

Guys, Sacremento is the best team in the west and the deficit is single digits!

Wait, sorry. Didn't fully update. I'll be here after the game.
