I told the board last year the Rangers were gonna struggle people didn’t believe. This team won more playoff games than any team over an 8 to 10 year period. It’s inevitable. It runs its course. I'm 80. Have been watching them since the 60's with the Chief and Tiny Tim in the stands. This is the worst team I have seen. Nothing comes close. Sad news is that I don't see it getting much better in the near future. Oh well, I'll always have 94.

Come on now...some of those early-to-mid 2000's teams were hot garbage. Basically after their run to the ECF in 96-97 to just before they traded for Jagr they were shiiiiii-tty.

Drury might not be the guy for this, Drury is NOT the guy for this, that is as clear as can be. I don't think he gets it at all, which is no surprise. When I see articles, should the Rangers be buyers or sellers, and it won't be easy, and Drury is interested in 30-year-old scrubs, or he doesn't call up Garand because he's clinging to some nonsense hail mary hope they can still make a run, it shows he does not get it even 1%.

ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE who is even barely paying attention sees this team is awful. As I wrote after the Buffalo game, they are terrible and I strongly feel they are about to fall off a cliff even worse, and then they get rolled 10-2. They are 5th worst based on points %, and a bottom 5 finish is almost a lock, maybe even bottom 3 or 4.

Since we are sadly stuck with Drury, Dolan will not fire him that is also clear, all we can hope is enough is enough, and even an in over his head lost moron like Drury can see big changes are needed, and he should be on the phone with Zibanejad, Fox, Panarin right now getting them to waive their NMC's. I would even discuss trading Trocheck for a big return, as I believe he would be valuable to a contender and he has 3 more seasons at $5.625M, which is a big plus for his value, he also only has a 12 team NTC.

That's the first step, the obvious realization this team is terrible and needs to sell off for picks/prospects. The bigger issue as I see it is even if Drury finally wakes up and realizes this team is awful, I have ZERO, less than ZERO actually, faith he will make the right trades to improve the team next year and beyond. He'll go trade for soon to be 31 whatever Kiefer Sherwood, which yet again proves why he is awful, why the F would the out of it terrible Rangers want UFA to be Kiefer Sherwood. I'll tell you why, because Drury is clinging to some ridiculous nonsensical myth the Rangers still have a shot. It's a complete and utter disgrace.

I have barely watched any games this year…which has been nice. Dolan isn’t a serious owner just like little Steinbrenner isn’t a serious owner. These guys are just all about $$$ and surrounding themselves with yes men that tell them that they are the smartest man in the room. Rangers are going to be a joke of a franchise for at least 6 years. Didn’t trade Fox like we should have. Gave Igor WAY too much money for a goalie. Moves, and non-moves, that have made this team weaker overall. Drury is as good at putting together a team as Hellen Keller would be at doing a jigsaw puzzle.

Giving Igor that much money was a big mistake like I was saying last year. I get it if you have a legitimate team in front of Igor for the next 5 years but they don’t. As always Drury found an easy way out and signed a big time goalie to this stupid contract while the team sticks and the vets are past their prime and trending down. This way he thinks Igor will save their bacon and they have a legitimate shot at the cup.
