Keep on losing. The way I see it, every loss is a win, and the worse and more embarrassing they look the better. That will drive major change quickly, even for lost and clueless Drury.

Do you realize how embarrassing the past four seasons have been under awful Drury:

Season one - embarrassed in a shameful way in a first round loss to NJ. Gallant was coach.
Season two - somehow the team was able to have a good season, win the Pres trophy and make the ECF. Not sure how this season happened, but clearly it was a total outlier mirage type of season. Lavy was coach.
Season three - embarrassing collapse from Pres trophy winner/ECF team to missing the playoffs. Lavy was coach.
Season four - going to finish the season as one of the five worst teams in the whole league barring some unfortunate miracle. Sullivan is coach.

That's four seasons, three of which are/were total embarrassments, and three coaches over the four-year span. What has been the same though is the in over his head, awful, lost, clueless, no balls, no creativity Pres/GM Chris Drury. Unfortunately, as bad as it's been, and getting worse, I don't see it getting better until Dolan wakes up and fires Drury. Hopefully we continue to get embarrassed, which leads to more louder fire Drury chants, and maybe just maybe it wakes Dolan up!!!

I used the four most recent seasons to show the clear disaster trend under Drury, the destruction he has brought to this organization. You are the only guy who still doesn't want to flat-out acknowledge how awful Drury is.

You always have passive aggressive ways to give Drury a pass. Whether it's he's better than Gorton, as if that matters after he's been here for years. Or the Rangers always suck anyway, so Drury isn't that bad, he's just typical for the awful Rangers organization, as if that's an excuse to keep him here - others have sucked, so let's keep him - not his fault. Or who could you possibly find that is better than Drury (I can fall out of bed and find someone better). Then the passive aggressive side comes out and after defending him/making excuses for him over and over, you say oh, but I don't care if he gets fired. It's funny.

Drury is terrible...hard stop....I said from day one, Drury was in over his head and has been since the second he was promoted...hard stop. That's the bottom line, regardless of how good or bad his predecessor was or if they can find someone better or how good or bad the Rangers organization has been.

As diehard Ranger fans, we all deserve better then in over his head clueless Drury. I hope somehow, we get it, even though unfortunately I know it won't happen with Dolan running the show.

I was illustrating how terrible the past four seasons have been, not giving Drury's full tenure. How terrible the trend is, how the team is sinking further and further into the abyss under awful Drury. For example, I did include the Pres trophy/ECF season, because it is one of the most recent four seasons, if I left that season out when showing the trend and decay, then you'd be on to something, but alas I did not.

You know what though, include his first season, to me it makes your defend Drury POV look worse. His first season the team was solid, maybe due to someone else's building of the team before Drury got his fingerprints on it (maybe who knows). And since that season the team has been a disgrace 3 of 4 seasons, the team has gone through 3 coaches in those 4 seasons, the team in general has gone down and down and down, as Drury cycles through coach after coach.

Including that season does not tell the story you think it does, to me it actually further illustrates the point, the decay, the rot, the collapse of the Rangers organization into an embarrassment. As he got his fingerprints on it more and more and he put his people and process in place more and more, he went from that first season to this joke in 5 years, ridiculous.

As of two weeks ago it was the Rangers are only 3 points out of a WC spot, as if that mattered when they played way more games than any other team, and anyone who watched them could see the team is horrific. Take a look at reality now, they are comfortably the last place team in the whole East, and they are tied for the 2nd worst team in the whole NHL based on points %. They are atrocious.

It's a disgrace, it's a joke, he has destroyed this organization, and he must go immediately!!!

Drury 's not my buddy, he's just better than the hunch playing chump he replaced, the worst drafting GM in Rangers 100 year history. My point which keeps going over your head is I doubt anything will change with a new GM. I've disagreed with many of Drury's moves, was a lone voice against dumping Goodrow and Trouba to clear cap space especially the way Drury handled the moves, turns out they were not the problem. I believe the Rangers have been to the Conference Finals 10 times, twice with Drury. I put this season 100% on the players, listen to Maloney if you watch the games he's baffled by the lack of effort and pride. Sather gave the Rangers organization a reputation as a place for great players at the end of their career to get their last paycheck and I'm afraid that's how most guys that come to the Rangers see it now.

I happen to think the king of the rot and decay here is Zibanejad. When I watch him play, I see nothing except wanting to score some goals/points. The culture of this team is a pile of trash, and I believe Zibanejad is at the top of the list of reasons why (after Drury). He must go in this "retool".

I see very little difference between Drury and Gorton, they both suck/sucked. In your opinion Gorton couldn't draft. In my opinion, Drury cannot trade, doesn't know how to deal with players like men, has helped create a terrible culture, cycled through coaches like candy, etc.

You reference the Goodrow and Trouba situations, and the way Drury handled them, I agree with you 10000000000%. To me those situations are way worse than anything any other GM has done, it's a basic fundamental bedrock of Drury's jobS to communicate clearly and respectfully, and he failed miserably. That right there is grounds to get him fired, and BTW I have very little doubt plays a huge role in the awful culture and chemistry this team has now. We pretty much know for sure it helped destroy last season.

Last thing, I don't disagree the Rangers have been a joke organization for a long time, they have been, it isn't going over my head at all. With that said, where I do disagree is the I doubt a new GM will change anything comment, so it doesn't matter if we keep awful Drury. We couldn't disagree more on that. Sure, as long as Dolan owns the team it's questionable at best the Rangers will be a true winning organization, but it doesn't mean I say oh well I guess we'll keep trash Drury, I get rid of the trash and hope that Dolan finally finds the leader we need, and deserve, to run this organization properly!!!

Lol Mika was Drury's first big contract and I was against resigning him because he stood there and watched Tom Wilson pummel Panarin - 100% red flag that he's not a team player, DJ Mika doesn't throw hands. I think he would help a team like Toronto because their PP stinks.
