i hope beverley plays. i wanted to see what simons would do against him.

Big Test for sure. Can we beat the Wolves and Mavs at home with our young studs? Hope they win

chauncey billups really needs to give up on norm powell small forward experiment

nassir little is better fit and hes developing & producing, we dont need powell scoring in the starting unit, theres enough of that with cj mccollum, ant & nurk (little & roco will add some too), we need more defense, rebounding & energy, which guys like nurk, little & roco provide, so its not a coincidence that team started playing better lately with them being out, as team is just more balanced and generally a better fit as it is... if you bring powell back in the starting unit, im afraid things wont work like they didnt before, as there wont be enough touches for everyone (ant & nurk really blossomed with bigger roles), so they wont share the ball, but rather look to get "theirs"

we all know cj mccollum needs to go and with ant breaking through, powell is the odd man out, so move powell to the bench and use him as 6th man while hes still here and keep rolling with whats working

Are you hoping Elleby doesn't get any playing time? He had a very nice game against Toronto.
He absolutely did, but... He's not a rotation quality player. Hopefully, he'll get there some day. Today is not that day.

Jezus dude.
Suns was the second game of the season and they played the night before in LA. Blazers had 2 full days rest and were at home.
The Grizzlies was a 20 point win and they were on their third game of a road trip and played the Clippers two nights before.
They have also lost twice to the Clippers with George.
They have also lost twice to the Nuggets and the last one was by 32
You yourself say the Lakers suck so why would you go there.
Your idea of a blow out is comical as well.
You must be new here......

interesting indeed

when nurk was returning from injuries, he was on minutes restriction, but was starting games

either chauncey is thinking differently than stotts or... powell will be a bench player from now on

I was at the Suns game, right behind Dame (!) and Paul was awful that night. The whole game he did nothing but jaw with Chauncey and bitch and moan. Ayton too, was basically MIA, Booger was Booger. On the other hand Portland made everything.

Big deal they beat the Suns. Means nothing to me TBH. Suns are far and away vastly superior to Portland in every way.
It’s a big deal because people like to say we don’t beat good teams and that’s false. Last year we struggled. This year, we’ve beaten a lot of good teams.

He’s looked good to me. Consistently putting some points on the board, making plays, rebounding, and defending. What player are you watching?

You do realize they said we didn't beat good teams on this road trip. That's legit how this started. We didn't beat good teams this road trip.

Surprised I had to say this lol

Depends on def of “good.” Toronto was healthy and had been playing well coming into our game. Washington and Boston have high level talent and are playoff contenders.

Toronto had lost 4 of 6 coming into the gave versus Portland....not exactly playing well. Boston is #8 and the Wiz #1 in the East. Yes, that is a contender for a Playoff spot, but so are we.....that isn't saying much.

...or he's on the trade block.

...or he's on the trade block.
in that case he wouldnt play at all (although, id argue anyone but dame is on the trade block)

was cj mccollum on minutes restriction when he came back (he was)

this probably means powell will be a bench player from now on

Billups don't want to mess the chemistry up in the 1st unit due there playing well together smart coaching decision.

Powell is most likely to be traded (from my understanding). Cjs played 28, 32, 36, 37.

No fucking chance Stotts would’ve had Powell coming off the bench tonight. I didn’t even think it was a question he would be starting. I still got that terry stench.

Toront0 was 6-4 in their last 10. Also- harder to make playoffs in East

Terrible start you got to be able rebound on the defense boards. You can't rely on the 3 so much especially if hitting them.
