:reading: OFFICIAL BLAZERS' GAME NOTES

• Tuesday marks the second of four matchups between the Trail Blazers and Kings in 2015-16.

• Portland defeated Sacramento, 98-94, in the first meeting between these two teams on Dec. 27. In that game, CJ McCollum produced 35 points (14-28 FG), 11 rebounds and nine assists.

• The Trail Blazers have won three consecutive games against the Kings, and are 7-2 in their past nine games against Sacramento.

• Portland has won four consecutive home games against Sacramento, and is 10-2 in its past 12 games against the Kings at the Moda Center.

• Against the Kings on Dec. 27, CJ McCollum became the first Trail Blazer to record at least 35 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four steals since Clyde Drexler (1/28/92 at GSW). McCollum was also the first NBA player to accomplish that feat since Kevin Garnett on 12/10/04.

• Damian Lillard (left foot plantar fasciitis) was inactive in Portland’s fi rst matchup with the Kings on Dec. 27. Lillard has averaged 26.6 points over his past fi ve games against Sacramento, including three straight games of 20+ points.

• Meyers Leonard recorded a double-double off the bench with 16 points (4-7 3-PT) and 11 rebounds.

• DeMarcus Cousins scored 36 points against Portland earlier this season on Dec. 27, marking his highest point total in 15 career games against the Trail Blazers.

• Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins has averaged 29.7 points on 47.3% shooting and 11.4 rebounds in his past seven games against the Trail Blazers (4 double-doubles). Cousins has scored at least 30 points in fi ve of those seven games.

• Portland is 5-2 in its past seven games (3-1 at home), while Sacramento is currently in the midst of a season-long five-game winning streak (3-0 on the road).

• Terry Stotts served as an assistant coach for 10 years (6 yrs - Sea., 4 yrs - Mil.) under Kings head coach George Karl.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Trail Blazers lead, 123-76
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 80-18
AT THE KINGS: Kings lead, 58-43

We have got to improve to 12-10 at home. Blazers 112 Kings 91

Getting Rudy Gay now would be absolutely pointless. We wouldn't be much better than Sac, but older, with more $ on the books for a player that has never had a winning impact.

Also, Kings playing CHA in Sac tonight-- can't be an easy back to back, playing in Pdx the next night.

Is Cousins an All-Star lock? Apparently these commercials didn't help...

Haha. Take-off on the Mean Joe Greene Coke commercial. Wonder what the age cut-off is for people who remember that?

Kings played huge minutes in the last game going into overtimes...should be an advantage in this game for the good guys

Cousins is a lock. As are Kobe, Durant, Curry, Westbrook, Kawhi, Lillard, Klay, Draymond, Paul, and Harden.

The 12th spot is up for grabs between Gasol, Aldridge, and Anthony Davis. I think Blake Griffin has missed too many games.

He just broke his hand...

Looks like NO Rudy Gay for this game FAMS! He usually plays very well against us.

This is a big game, are we good enough to move the Kings out of 8th place? They have a very nice team, maybe a better roster than ours, probably a better coach. I think they're front-runners for the 8th seed

I don't remember the commercial when it ran. But family guy, and another source did some jokes about it.

The HCP didn't need your opinion or link to prove his rightness FAMS!

You have been right so seldom lately I thought I would take advantage of the rare situation.

Kings have a sneaky good announcing crew. Should be a fun game

He hates hockey because dogs cant walk on ice.
