Would you trade for Rudy Gay if the cost was only 2nd round draft picks and Kaman and/or Henderson?

Great game by the Blazers. A lot of guys impressed, especially Hendo and Meyers. Vonleh continues to impress me on both ends, seems to improve by the game lately.

Edit: And how could I forget Dame's assists. Love that.

This is like the opposite of what a Blazer fan would've posted a week or two ago. And it's spot on

Wow I wish I could have seen the game that Meyers played so well the whole board was giving him props. Does this mean Stotts stuck him in the post where he belongs?

Hendo is also fitting in better game by game. (Along with Vonleh)

As for the Kings, I thought Rondo looked pretty good. He makes that team a lot better.
He also seems to have brought the flopping techniques with him from dallas and boston. In the first half the refs mistook the kings for the spurs with the some of the acting they bought into.

On D he did. On O he moved around a lot. Mostly on the perimeter, but the touch pass in the key to (I think) Davis was sweet.

On defense, yes. He played as a center against a center, and the refs let it be physical. That seems to work out well for him.

I still think free (unless we are a top 5 team in 2020) is a very good price..

...does anyone have video of the "The Fiddler" from inside the arena tonite? That shit was hot! That should be the official good luck calling card the rest of the season for home games. The Fiddler needs to perform at EVERY HOME GAME EVER!

cousins must hate playing Portland; we f*ck with him terribly . . . .

Some hilbilly chick tried to parade behind the Fiddler during a fiddle breakdown with her beer upraised-she got escorted away for her effort . . .

There are 15 players who have scored 900+ points so far this year. Here's the list, sorted by eFG%, meaning how good are they purely as shooters.

Portland gets no respect from the refs, so our guards have to produce by hitting shots rather than hitting FTs.
It's not a matter of not respecting them, it's a matter of it not being fair. The rest of the league couldn't handle Dame and CJ both getting to the line more often!

That was great! Parading in there with her beer and trying to get a selfie on the big screen. REJECTED!

Any time Meyers doesn't get roasted in a game, it's the story of the game. ;)

Reading about Meyers in this thread what I liked the most was accounts that he was 'getting under' other players' skin. He seems to do that, somehow. LaimBeibs FTW! ;)

I do prefer him in the post on defense and the high post (passing/shooting/drawing out the other team's center) on offense. Good to hear it worked out, especially against a player who I'm sure many were afraid was going to eat our lunch.

Cousins HATES Meyers. I think what is happening is that Cousins sees Meyers as fresh meat. It should be SO easy for him to drop 40 on Meyers, so when Meyers actually forces a few misses from Cousins it totally fucks with his head and he starts playing angry and reckless. It's hilarious.

Cousins is one of many very talented NBA players who are mental midgets. I doubt he ever gets past it.

Cousins just combined for 104 points in his last 2 games before last night. He is human, he does get tired and i still think that we'd be lucky to have him.

Other then that, i think we should definitely try to extend Hendo's contract in case we won't find a good deal for him. He seems to fit pretty well with the other players, he is still young and athletic, can shoot the ball and creates for himself.
Why not keep him?

Cousins is a seven foot tall Russell Westbrook. Amazing talent, huge skill set, easy as hell to troll into a bad performance.

Hahahah(coughcough)Hahahaha!

"I'm not giving him that much credit. He's not even a defender."

Hahaha. Mental advantage: Meyers Leonard

Cousins is a great offensive player and you knew after averaging 50+ the last two games he was going to have a let down. Especially on a back to back double overtime scenario. But is he that good of a defender to be popping off about defense? I have seen some games where he was not exactly engaged on guarding anyone........

I don't know who kept asking Cousins about Meyers, but that reporter clearly got under his skin, too. Haha.
